Prima Scooter Cover for the Genuine Buddy Rattler or Blur

This is the first scooter cover I've ever purchase that actually fits my scooter as advertised. I have a 50CC Genuine Buddy. It fits like a glove. I love the elastic around the tires and the bottom straps that connect underneath so it doesn't flap around in the wind.As noted, there is not a heat-proof section for the exhaust pipe so I waited until the scooter cooled to put the cover on. I bought it because it was about to start snowing again here and I don't have a garage. I winterized the bike and then covered it up really nice. So far it's worked well to keep out the snow and hail. I don't know if I will use the cover for every day use during my riding season only because it takes a bit of effort to get it on exactly right and I would be too impatient to do that each night. But I will definitely use it if I want the scooter covered or protected for a long weekend or in a storm.

Very nice cover. For you XB-502 owners out there, I would recommend it. Not totally waterproof (water pools in the area between the steering column and seat, eventually leaking through), but some spray-on latex clear coat will seal problem areas. The elastic works well and the cover has never blown off; have had no need to use the straps.The cover rolls up nice and tight and fits in fairly tight storage boxes, such as a helmet box. Folding it for storage in the included bag is out of the question if one is in a rush.I would recommend.

I have a 2009 Buddy 125 with a Prima medium windscreen and the Genuine matching top case. The cover fits well around the screen and mirrors, but... it just won't quite fit around the top case. This does make it hard fully enclose the scooter from the elements but It's still 90% functional.I live in a mild climate, so the fact I can fully enclose my ride isn't really a deal breaker. However, I am a bit miffed that they say this will fit the Buddy 125 with its accompanying top case. If there was about 3-4 more inches of fabric on the section that goes around the top case, we would have a winner.On the plus side, if you don't have a top case, the extra fabric zips back into its own little compartment. Nice touch.

This is my second Prima cover. It is in direct sun in Hawaii and lasts about 1.5 years before it begins tearing. Total usable life in direct sun is at best 2 years. But it is still better than the really thin covers made by other manufacturers.

At first discovered the scooter cover was a little bit too small but I still used it and loved it eventually I realize that there was zippers on it to make it a little bit bigger and it was a perfect fit all around once I unzipped one of the zippers I still use it and it is well good especially during winter

This thing is neat! It has a zip out pocket for the tail trunk and the windshield. My Vespa LX 150 has a trunk but no shield, so I merely left the from pocket zipped and have no excess material flopping in the wind. It's not a tight fit like some motorcycle covers, but I like that also. I have dealt with covers that are difficult to put on. Not this one.Not too loose, not to tight; easy to put on and take off. Also has a means to secure the cover under the belly of the scoot for added wind resistance.

I debated buying a generic small motorcycle cover for my Genuine Scooter Buddy 170i, but went with this one instead. I am happy that I did--it fits perfectly on my scoot, protects it from rain and falling walnuts/acorns and the squirrels that chase them. Also, it really kept the seat cool in this summer's relentless heat and accompanying sunshine. It has elastic around the bottom so that it stays snug against the bike without dangling free, and it folds up into the included storage bag and fits perfectly inside the compartment under the seat. I'd recommend for anyone with a Genunine Scooter.

I like the cover I had one before and it only lasted 3 years The cover I think would last longer if it is kept inside I am useingit outside so it is exposed to the elements. It dried out and ripped. I also think it was a little bit expensive.
