I think all the reviewers who gave this book a negative review have never had a Jade summer book before... True the paper is not the best quality, that is why they are only 6.99. The fix is quite simple, you just have to put scratch paper behind your coloring page to prevent bleed-through. Yes, the drawings are a little childish and cartoon-like, and some do not have much detail, and instead have bigger spaces to color. But a lot of Jade Summer books are that way - that is more or less their style. Some of their books are more detailed than others, but I actually enjoy having a bigger space to color because it allows me to use my alcohol markers and shade, while the super detailed books with tiny spaces to fill in (which I also enjoy) do not. If you don't like cute, cartoon-like drawings that are easier to color than some "adult coloring books" than this book is not for you. But a great thing about Jade Summer books is they allow you to preview every single page! Therefore, the people who complain about the subject matter really have no room to complain, they should have actually taken the time to look through the preview pages. If you do want something fun, relaxing and cute to color, which allows you to practice skills with your alcohol markers while coloring in subjects like adorable penguins decorating a xmas tree, Santa and his reindeer, winter birds, gingerbread house and men, Xmas trees and presents then this book is for you!

I love this book. It has different pictures than the 2 previous Christmas books and I look forward to coloring these pictures.

Very pretty designs and pictures! Unfortunately, I think a big design flaw is not having perforated pages to tear them out. It’s annoying to have to color each picture in the book on top of the other pages so the pages behind it end up with indentations from pencil marks. I ripped my first picture after attempting to tear it out. Other than that, I’m satisfied.

I was excited to receive this coloring book but it seemed geared more towards teenagers than adults. I ended up giving it away. Also, the quality was lacking. I found the paper to be thin and a bit "grayish". I did not like the black backing. Other books I have (Johanna Basford, Marjorie Sarnat, Valentina Harper for example) all have wonderful paper that produces a lovely finished product regardless of medium (pencils, gel pens, etc.). I won't buy Jade Summers books in the future). I don't like being negative but this is my feedback.

However, I don’t like the black backing that I believe is to keep markers from bleeding through to the back & possibility ruining a table. If you use light colors like yellow or pink the black bled through to the front & turned them too dark.

Just what I wanted ! Very high quality. You will not be disappointed !

Pages printed really too large and kind of boring pictures! Only good thing the back of pages are black and don't know if it is so they won't bleed through? Haven't colored anything in it and not sure I will. Maybe good for someone who is just beginning and good practice pages.

The drawings in this coloring book are really nice, and I think there is something for everyone's linking, but...Very thin paper. I work with very soft coloring pencils (Premium Soft) and don't like to think what would happen if you use the cheaper harder coloring pencils; they would absolutely rip the page or punch holes.The other thing I don't appreciate is that the back of each drawing is black. You will need a paper to put between the page you work on and the next drawing, as the black back leaves marks on the next drawing.So Fritzen Publishing...why not use thicker paper without a black back? As the drawings are great and detailed, I would rather pay more. It would bring extra joy while coloring.

This is a lovely colouring book for adults . Bought for a Care home use .

Love the pictures in this one. Pages hold the felt pen ink well.

Looks nice have not used yet could be a little child like but ok

Liked this colouring book very much, has kept me entertained through my illness.
