Soft 2 Knot Horse Halter

I bought 2 of these halters and lead ropes many years ago for my OTTBs and they still look brand new, this purchase I bought 2 more with matching lead ropes for my other 2 mares and will be buying another for my gentleman gelding. My horses are noticeably more comfortable in these particular rope halters vs the run-of-the-mill rope halters, strappy nylon or leather ones. The paracord is very soft and very strong and cleans up well. Highly recommend these.

I have a pretty standard size QH (15.3) and tried the standard size halter but had to return and go with the large. Didn’t even have enough slack to tie the knot. If you think your horse might have a slightly larger head then definitely go with the large

Unbiased, non-paid for review- I have purchased four sets of rope halters and leads from Knotty Girlz over the past few years. I originally found them as an alternative to Clinton Anderson products and loved the feel and quality of the ropes and halters. In the past, I had gotten stiff halter with nose knots for ground work training. I wanted a softer one for general handling and tying. While I am typically a neutral colors gal, the burgundy caught my eye and I was delighted with the set when it arrived! You can’t beat the quality of their products and they’re fast to ship. Even though I sound like a rope/rope halter snob here, I love great quality and do get compliments on these ropes and halters when we are out!

I ordered this halter with the matching 15ft lead rope. The halter fits perfectly as if it were custom made for him. It is soft and easy to tie without the excess rope not being too long. I would highly recommend this halter. The lead rope is soft and sturdy. I also love the leather tabs at the end. I highly recommend this halter/lead rope!!

The halter did not fit my horse perfectly it was a little small on the bottom

I loved the quality of this rope halter! I’ve tried many different well known brands but this fits best. It’s soft but not too soft and sturdy but not too stiff. I like the size as well. Our QH has a smaller head & this fit perfectly without a bunch of rope hanging down when you tie it. I highly recommend this.

Will not buy this again,to short to Tie.Needs to be 3 inches longer, not a Horse person who came up with this product.
