This blanket is mostly well made and warm. I use it as a sofa cover because that is one of my dog’s favorite sleeping places. I have washed it several times in cold water on a gentle cycle. I dry it part of the way on low heat then hang it to dry completely. After the last washing, I noticed that it is shedding fringe all over the place. I have purchased other Mexican style blankets from other sellers and they are not dropping fringe all over the house. I will not buy this brand again. The dog likes it fringe or no fringe.

We used to go into Mexico a lot as kids, on family fun weekends since we lived in L.A. could get there in a couple hours. We always brought back blankets, just loved them. These blankets are the same patterns, but higher quality & wash/dry beautifully. I was thinking well if these are good blankets, it beats a 4 day drive I'd have to make these days! When I opened up the bag, it didn't have the funny smell they would start with back in the 60-70's which was a plus. Threw them in the washer on cold, dried on low & they came out soft & super nice. I will definitely be getting some more for the vehicles, yoga, camping & beach runs!

Fast shipping. Great quality product. Not used for its intended purpose. But this is way better than the cheap seat covers available out there. Reminds me of my grandads old farm truck.

I absolutely love products that can stand the test of time... products that will still look beautiful and be useful 10, 15, or 20 years from now! I feel like this serape blanket is one of those products! It's soft, durable, and the colors are vibrant. It also is generously sized! I know my family will get lots of use from this blanket. We frequently spend time outdoors, so I plan to use it for everything from park and river picnics to chilly nights on our front porch. This is a true multi-purpose product, and I love that! I also love that the blanket is artisan-made from recycled materials and that a portion of the proceeds are donated to charity!

good sales pitch in description, reality washed upon arrival and left gray black grease ring in washer tub. Washed a 2nd time and left different level grease/ grime ring....I did not use this blanket, this was straight out of box into washer. I had to scrub washer tub manually to clean residue. This is NOT conducive to yogi practice or sustainability...seems to be scam marketing with inflated pricing. Returned.

This blanket came just as described and just in time for a reiki infused yoga class I’m taking. Amazing quality, bright vibrant colors and it is authentic - handcrafted by Mexican artisans. I really appreciate a company that stands up for the people who make its products.

Really lovely soft, good sized blanket that washes well.

The blanket is of a very poor quality, it had sharp bits of plastic in the fibres & imperfections in the sewing *see photo). After one wash there is still fibres falling of the blanket so I cannot use it as a throw as it makes any clothes you wear hairy. Waste of money.

This blanket turned out to be exactly what I hoped for and even a little bigger than expected! It's beautiful. I bought it for my boyfriend who was very impressed with the quality. He LOVES it. I love these blankets so much, I ordered 5 in total, one by one, always wanting one more. They are of good quality, easy to wash and dry, great for picnics, cool nights on the patio, as splash of colour on your chair or sofa. Great buy.
