This product is a must buy for anyone who owns the Philips airfryer. I held off on buying this for about a month and I regret not buying it when I got the machine. The basket that it comes with is good for just dumping fries in and cooking. I like to add spray oil to fresh cut fries and even the light oil would cause the original basket to get stuck with food residue. The non-stick grill pan is perfect for any kind of food and leaves you with a hassle free grill pan for clean up. Any food residue literally wipes right off with a little amount of soap and water. It works so good that it is the only insert I use anymore!

Bought this to go with my Philips XL Airfryer. Love it. As far as I am concerned it is a must have accessory. Usually accessories are useless for the most part, but not this one. Grilled halibut and mahi mahi with fresh vegetables on it in the Airfyer and it comes out perfectly grilled and moist. I would say of all the cooking I do which is about almost 21 meals a week on average, half the time I just use the standard tray that comes with the Airfryer and the rest of the time I use this grill tray. Of all the accessories for this Airfryer this tray is a must buy.Pictured is the grill tray grilling fresh halibut and then using the double rack Philips HD9905/00 Airfryer Double Layer Rack with Skewers for Avance, X-Large, Silver to grill some zucchini. Cooked for 10 minutes at 360 (it cooks quicker at 390 about half the time) and the fish came out perfect, flaky and mouth watering. No more preheat oven to 400. Cook for 6 minutes, flip then cook for another 6 minutes, and then sauteed zucchini in another pan with oil...just did it all in one shot with the same pan. Easy.

So if you're reading this you might have read my review of the Philips Airfryer XL, and you might have known that I have some misgivings about using the Airfryer for cooking things other than French Fries. Since I spent $325 for the appliance, I figured spending another $25 or so dollars on a rack to expand the cooking area to be a no-brainer, and the addition of Shish Kabob skewers was intriguing. So how does it work? Just like the Airfryer itself, it was a mixed bag, but I've decided to rate this accessory on its own merits outside of the AirFryer's - hence the four star rating while the AirFryer gets only three.In use, the bottom rack is very close to the bottom of the basket, so you can't really easily stack food on top of it. For example, let's say you wanted to stack a couple of chicken breasts on top of a layer of French Fries - you could easily do that, but then the drippings from the chicken would land on the fries, so you'd really have to put the chicken on the bottom, yet the amount of space between the bottom of the rack isn't really enough to accommodate many things....so as a "space doubler" I'd have to give this a low rating. However, when using the included skewers, I found this to be a fantastic add-on to the AirFryer. Also, it comes with five skewers for four slots, so I guess one is supposed to be a spare should you lose or bend one.Tip: when cooking kabobs, you need to soak all parts of the AirFryer - this rack, the skewers, the basket and bottom pan in warm water and then wash them in the dishwasher immediately - otherwise it's time to whip out the toothbrush to clean the carbonized food, seriously.Pros:• Inexpensive, well-made stainless steel can go in the dishwasher or be scrubbed by hand• Works fantastically for shish kabobs, can cook chick kabobs in 6 minutes, beef in 9 - amazing• Comes with extra skewer• Great for stacking layers of similar foods, such as frozen chicken planks, fish sticks, etc.Cons:• Shelf is too low to stack over larger items - some items may drip onto others• Skewer clearance is pretty tight, so you really have to cut smallish cubes of meat / veggies for kabobs• Is very difficult to clean if not soaked immediately

Use the air fryer most days. Cleaning the basket is a small pain. Cleaning this is a snap. Excellent for foods that don't need the basket. Use it for onion rings, breaded chicken sticks and breaded fish sticks. Can use this for most items. A batch of french fries needs the basket. I did learn that this does not work well for small frozen pizza. The pizza came out perfect in the basket, but the crust did not brown at all in the grill pan. Agree that it should have been included. Then again, I guess Philips believes that anyone willing to pay $300 or so for the fryer, isn't likely to balk at paying $49 for this pan. There are a lot more fryer reviews than grill reviews. That tells me a lot of fryer buyers are missing out on this very worthwhile accessory. Buy this from Amazon or Philips. A lot of other sellers advertise the fryer grill for a lower price without specifying the model. Those are for the smaller fryer. Make sure you get the 9911 model.

Did 4 small steaks on it! Steaks were okay. Nothing beats an outside grill... Clean up was okay as well, however, the unclogging of the meat residue from the holes in the grate required soaking the pan and using a sharp point to completely clean it. That I didn't like...Amazon had bad reviews on this. This fits the XL PERFECTLY. The issue with Amazon was that other people were complaining the Teflon was coming off the pan. Didn't use it enough to see if I get the same results. That's what the review is regarding what you see when you look at this for the Airfryer......................

Maybe I was lucky, maybe it is what it is. But, this item is original and works marvelous. Easy to clean and easy to care. Very light item. I am happy so far and been using for several times since purchased.
