BaeBlu Organic LUX Liquid Foundation SAMPLES, Sugar, Butter, Vanilla

I currently use a product I purchased through a consultant (home parties) that contain aloe, but they've changed the formula. I was looking for another liquid foundation made of aloe and was thrilled LUX offered samples! The coverage is great; not too heavy but offers full coverage depending on how much is applied. I like that I can control the coverage by building layers.The first sample I tried was Latte and it smelled so sickening sweet I was almost nauseous. Then I tried Hazelnut and it too was sweet but not as intense as Latte. Lastly I tried Cream and I almost puked. It smelled like paint. Unfortunately I will not be purchasing a full size bottle of Lux foundation due to the smell. So disgusting!

Since my favorite foundation is no longer available, I went on a search to find a new favorite. I was hoping that BaeBlu Organic Foundation would be "the one" after reading all of the good reviews, but after trying one of the nice generous sized samples that I received from BaeBlu I am sad to say that something in the ingredients caused my face to break out. I think it's the shea butter since I had the same reaction after trying Pur Minerals Pressed Mineral Foundation quite a few years ago, but I still wanted to give BaeBlu a try. So, my search for a good-for-your-skin foundation continues.THE POSITIVE AND THE NEGATIVEBaeBlu Organic Foundation is not greasy, goes on nicely, and leaves a nice healthy glow, but it seemed drying to my skin and accentuated my smile lines much more than the other foundations that I have used. It really didn't give me good coverage and I normally use a foundation with sheer to medium coverage. I found that it did not last for the whole day either.When wearing the mask that we are now required to wear when in public settings, I noticed that BaeBlu rubbed off after taking off my mask, whereas the other foundations that I wear stay put and do not wear or rub off. I gave BaeBlu a second chance today by applying moisturizer as well as a primer, but I had the same disappointing results.I posted the pictures of the three samples that I received with the hope of helping some of you who are trying to decide what color to choose. The Vanilla is the lightest of the three colors, the Hazelnut is a little darker, and the Cream I found to be the darkest of the three. I am glad that this foundation has worked for many of you, but, sadly, it did not work for me. =(

I didn't use the samples but I DO like the FULL SIZE I purchased b4. Good coverage clings well, goes on liquid but has a powdery finish, nice.

I love the idea of samples for trying the shades. Thank you for offering this! For the product, I didn't experience what I felt was much coverage- super light and I couldn't tell I had put it on other than the scent. I ended up removing after a couple hours because the scent was so strong it was giving me a headache. I'm usually only sensitive to artificial scents, so it makes me wonder about the fragrance used.

I'm really glad I bought this sample set because I was leaning toward one shade, but a different one was perfect for me. It provides light, moisturizing coverage and feels great on my 57-year old skin without settling into my wrinkles. I received a great coupon from the company and have placed my order.

Love the ability to try colors 1st. Truly removes the stress of buying in line. Great coverage. Lasts all day. Not a fan of the smell but I have a very sensitive nose.

I wanted to like these so much, especially after reading the positive reviews and wanting to find a good vegan-friendly foundation! Unfortunately, the smell of this makeup is too much of a turn off for me. Especially when wearing a mask, I can’t get away from it. I loved that they offer these samples and they are generous, but be warned and maybe have a towel on your lap because I got it ALL over me twice while trying to open these! The actual color and coverage is great, just a personal preference to the smell

Mrs. Tooter-Tuter here! Thank you, BaeBlu for providing an easy way to try colors and get just the right shade! Over the years, I've used many major department store brands and a few from Whole Foods type stores. I even worked for the major hypo-allergenic, dermatologist-tested brand while in college. BaeBlu foundation is the best I've ever tried. It doesn't collect in pores or happy wrinkle lines, plus it stays on all day without any greasy feel. Can't wait to order my full sized bottle. Also tired and loved the CC cream!
