Very disappointed, assembly of the lamp was easy, the lamp shade is an awkward Velcro do it yourself, I assume for the sake of packaging, I put the lamp together and the neck was quite angled and not centered with the base, I shimmed under the base to try and make up the difference and it was relatively straight but the head of the lamp where the lampshade bracket tightens up to was tilted quite noticeably to one side, I tried to make up the skew in the lampshade and very delicately tried to straighten it out, the head of the lamp popped right out of the pole, it was threaded in by the manufacturer and I tried to thread it back in but the threads will not grab, it was either cross threaded from the factory or the threads were not cut deep enough, either way, I have an awkward broken lamp.

Honestly, for the price point this lamp is pretty amazing. I love the minimalist design and the super easy install. Yes the lamp shade is put together with Velcro but seriously It doesn’t look bad at all, also it makes sense for the sake of packaging. Some of the reviews are hilarious cause the individuals screwed up putting the shade together then complained about the lighting... I had no issues putting it together and I didn’t even touch the instructions. It’s pretty simple:)

This lamp is impressive. I was looking for a modern, simple floor lamp with warm light. I read through the reviews and was a little concerned when I saw multiple complaints that the lamp shade was defective. Ultimately, I liked the look of the lamp enough to take the risk and ordered.I couldn’t be happier. The lamp came in an alarmingly small box, but don’t panic. Because the lamp shade requires assembly (simple and straight forward), the lamp fits into a very small space. Genius packaging.The defect that people had mentioned in reviews was simply an assembly error that can be corrected if you carefully read the directions and follow the diagrams.The base is surprisingly heavy and easily anchors the lamp. Feels very sturdy.

I recently moved to a bigger apartment and had to buy more lamps. I got this one for my living room and it perfectly fits as i needed it to be.The lampshade is perfectly sized and it gives a controlled bright indirect light to give a nice ambiance to the living room. The base of the lamp is also Sturdy and holds the lamp on the carpet floor with no issues.It was easy to assemble and It does not comes with a bulb. I use one of the smart bulb with this lamp and what I noticed was warm colors (Yellowish ) suites the lamp the most.Even though I don't use the foot switch I think that can be handy too.

All i gotta say, is someone actually assembled the lamp with the bracket upside down. Looking at the posted amazon review, i almost wondered how the top piece was inverted. Was it bent? Did it warp? When i finally got mine, i realized another reviewers mistake. If you have a messy house and don't follow common sense , this lamp is prob not for you, LOL!

What I Liked: It has a Modern style and a good price point.What I didn't like: the purchaser has to assemble a pole with several pieces as well as velcroing (my made up word) the two outside hub/wheels to a long strip of laminated fabric to make the lampshade. What came together as a project I'd give myself a B- on, I think will rapidly have parts that are loose or tilted by any movement of the lamp. This means moving it or vacuuming the area will further diminish the look. I wish I had not made the purchase.At least with the many items I have assembled from that well-known Swedish furniture manufacturer, in the end I felt like it was extremely sturdy and going to last. I definitely don't get that feeling here. The directions were also bizarre.

Great lamp for soft light. Its modern and beautiful and looks more expensive than it was. It won't light a whole room, but thats kind of the point. Highly recommend.

We bought this light for a dark corner of the living room and I am happy with this purchase!The instructions were a little unclear at first but we quickly figured it out. Quality is better than expected for a flat-pack light and it gives off a nice glow through the shade. It’s just the right height next to a couch.Just a note that the on/off switch is on the cord itself - you can step on the button to turn it on or off. Depending on your outlet situation, this may not work for your space. There isn’t a way to turn the light on/off closer to the shade like traditional lamps.
