this product is well made and works great, after getting this i was able to service my own HVAC unit; the same unit which the hvac has been unable to fix 3 years now on my newly built home.Take matters into your own hand and do it yourself, it will be well done

It doesn't get better than this: product was exactly as pictured, at a good price and shipped quickly in the proper packaging. This manifold is of high quality, has calibrateable gauges, very readable temp/pressure scales and will be in use for years. What else to say....completely satisfied.

I bought this Yellow Jacket 42044 Heat Pump Manifold 60" so that I can check my coolant as needed. The part arrived quickly, well packaged, and full instructions from the merchant. Yellow Jacket makes quality products and I would definitely recommend this product and merchant.(my standard note: When I rate a product I impart as much clarity and actual personal experience of the product as possible to hopefully assist others. I do not use or allude to for the money. I doubt the manufacturer will either if they expect to sell a product. If I pay $15 for a like product vs $500 for an original; I expect the same performance regardless of savings. Making and selling a product at a lower costs does not equate to cheap. Less cost should only mean that a competitor has learned to do the same or better at a lower cost.)

Used multiple times daily. This gauge/manifold set matched with these hoses has proven to be the longest lasting and most consistently accurate sets that I have used. Worth every bit of the purchase price.

Works great, but had to order some ball valves also, they don't come with this kit, and are necessary unless you wan to eat a lot of refrigerant. Also used some colored electrical tape to mark the hose color, otherwise it gets confusing they are all black. I'm not a pro, but I try to be when I do my own work.

anything by Richie engineering /yellowjacket is great in my book, and these are no exception.One thing missing would be a vacuum measurement on gauges, but I don't need that feature because i use external digital micron gauge and this set would not be for vacuum except in dire need (have a dedicated set with heavy duty hoses etc)also another important aspect to note is these black hoses are NOT the same as the larger black hoses for vacuum ,Yellow Jacket Part Number 15060, they are just a little smaller in diameter but i believe they are rated for the same micron level. hope this helps gman35

The specs say that this device can be used for R410a systems. They don't say that an adapter (not included) would be required if you should actually want to do so. On the good side, the 60-inch hoses are quite nice. The dials are confusing to someone not trained (multiple scales); I'd have appreciated a bit of documentation about them.
