Super 44 exhaust muffler
Great sounding exhaust muffler, had the rough country cat back dual exhaust and was too quiet for my liking. I could barely hear the exhaust so I did my research and the super 44 was what I was looking for as far as from reading and videos done to show the sound. Little drone at 1700 to 2000 rpms. Great sounding exhaust without it being just ridiculous and not being able to be a daily driver.

If you want louder..........
Put this on a 2000 Chevy 2500 6.0 dual to the muffler. Duals out turned out behind the rear tires. It’s a bit louder than hoped for. Drones a little around 1800 rpms which happens to be cruising speed of 55-60 mph. I’m afraid it will be too much when pulling my pontoon boat. I’ll have to wait and see.

Awesome muffler.
Awesome muffler ...I researched and shopped around and amazon was the best price ..... but this thing rocks !! I had the single to dual super 40's and it had too much of the high aggressive sound so I opted to go with the deep and rich sound of the 44"s when i converted to true dual. my only regret is not putting in the X pipe off the bat but no worries i have one on the way !! Oh and don't forget to shop online for some high flow cats as well then you will be smiling like a kid in a candy shop :)

Flowmaster Super 44
Sounds great! I have this dumped before the rear axle on a 98 chevy k1500 with a 350 and was way louder and deeper then the glass packs that were on it. I am guessing if anyone is complaining that it is to quiet, they probably also have factory resonators still on their exhaust system. Gives it a cool classic muscle sound.

Flowmaster dual inlet/outlet Super 44 muffler
Good tone at idle but not real loud until you floor it or hit a passing gear and it sounds awesome.Installed on a '97 Silverado C1500 5.7L,true dual exhaust and shorty headers with 4" tips.

Great Choice For a 454
I just installed this on my 1996 Suburban K2500 with the 454. I love how it sounds. It's a nice, deep tone. I'm not sure I would describe it as throaty; it's more of a smooth tone. With my stock cats still on, it's a good moderate volume level. Loud enough to hear well, but not loud enough to drone on the highway.Note: the muffler I received was painted silver, not black.

Great for duel exhaust
I had cat back duel exhaust which sounded good but soon got pretty annoying every time I’d excellerate, it was just too loud. I had the Flowmaster 44 installed and it’s a big improvement. Still has the same throaty sound but without the cackle.
