What happened to these!?!? Taste is UNBEARABLE
I have been buying these for a few months now and have really enjoyed them! However, after receiving an order two weeks, the first bottle I opened was disgusting. I'm not talking a "vegan taste" but I mean something in the formula taste rancid. I opened a second bottle and the same taste. Something is definitely bad in it. I threw them out and contacted Amazon. Earlier this week, I received a new shipment. I just opened the first bottle and the same rancid taste. I instantly gagged. I did not open a second bottle to taste because at this point, I am done with these. That's how bad the taste is. Again something in it is spoiled. That's the taste. At a cost of $50 for four 4 packs, this is ridiculous.

Great taste, lots of protein.
My son drinks 2 protein shakes a day. He has stomach issues and these help him get nutrition, protein and do not upset his stomach like food can. He liked these Garden of Eden drinks a lot. In reality none of these bottled protein shakes are very delicious. But when you have to consume them on a regular basis for dietary needs you become a critic of protein drinks. There are only a few brands he likes as he finds most are too sweet. He has tried them all. These Garden of Eden Organic Plant Based Protein Vanilla Shakes are not too sweet. He prefers no added sugar. He finds Garden of Eden a lot less thick than all the other protein shakes. They are smooth and easy to drink at room temp. 21 grams of protein helps satisfy hunger for a while. We like they are organic The price is listed quite high and at $52 they are not a good bargain. But the 50% off coupon makes them reasonably priced with other comparable brands. However his preferred brand is loaded with 19 vitamins or minerals. Garden of Life only lists iron and potassium. It also contains 120 mg more sodium. The story behind Garden of Life is great, just wish their was more nutritional vitamins and minerals listed.

DO NOT BUY (from this seller!?)
I bought one of these drinks from a health food store and it was great, tasted great, kept me full, etc. I was so excited to have finally found a solution for my problem, I didn't even look at the reviews as I should have. The product that arrived looked exactly the same, same bottle, smelled the same, but was 4x thick and not at all something anyone should drink, it was basically curdled or something (I would have taken a picture of dumping it down the drain but I was busy getting sick due to the look and smell). The other reviews indicate the same experience, I am not sure how this is happening, but I would highly advise not buying this product on Amazon.

Great ingredients, but the Vanilla taste horrible and is very thick when refrigerated.
Love the ingredients and the health benefits from the clean ingredients, but the Vanilla taste horrible and has a funny like "spicy" taste on the back of your tongue like a chai type drink but way more yucky! I refrigerated mine at work and it was SUPER thick. I will try it unrefrigerated nest time.

Almost Custom Made For Me! đ§Ąđđ
The taste is a little weird but it is the best of the pea protein shakes that I have ever had. I have poured some down the drain but I drank all of it. A tip that works for me is to eat something with it and alternate between eating and drinking.Custom made? I have lactose intolerance and there are no milk products in it. I have sarcoidosis, too much calcium can make me very ill. It has no calcium. I am diabetic, it has no sugar and it very low carbohydrate drink. I have severe iron deficiency and it will add an extra 20% of daily iron to my diet. 21 grams of protein is fantastic for diabetics and older people. It is very difficult to find a protein drink with all those pluses for my special needs!!!

A matter of taste
This product is a shining example of why I prefer to buy food and supplement products from a local source, and also why I could care less about what anyone else things about how something tastes, smells, feels. etc.Taking that second one first â all reviews fall into two very broad categories. For example, when a reviewer measures something and finds that it is actually twelve inches, not the fourteen inches that the ad says it is. That is a verifiable fact, it can only be one way, either the ad is right or the customer caught them in a mistake. But on the subject of taste, smell, tactile feel, etc. those are matters of opinion. I may love the way something tastes and the next person may feel just the opposite. Thatâs why you should never trust reviews that are based on opinion. How about this shake? Several people say they are disgusted by it, while others donât feel that way at all. And then there is me, I actually use these as mix-ins for health shakes I make in my blender and by the time I add in baby spinach, fresh blueberries, bananas and a whole list of other things whatever the protein shakes taste like is completely covered up by the flavors of everything else. Why should I care if you like it, and why should I lose any sleep of you disagree with my opinion? So other than that we have whatâs in it, and the people who sell it canât seem to agree with their own ingredient list so that puts a checkmark next to why I donât buy unknown brands from unknown sources. Finally, value. This page is a little messed up about how they describe things, it reminds me of one of those shark tank episodes where their entire presentation falls apart when Mr. Wonderful starts asking questions. As near as I figure it these come down to five bucks a bottle. I doubt if anyone is really going to quibble over that. Itâs right in there with the hundreds of other similar products that line the health food store shelves. For the purpose I use it, as a liquefier for shakes made with fresh healthy ingredients, this is not a bad product. That description of not bad has never earned anyone five stars and that doesnât change here. I like it and that earns four stars.

Can't Get Past the Taste or Aftertaste
I was very much looking forward to this product as a good pick-me-up in the morning or for pre- or post-workout. It has a horrible, nauseating taste and aftertaste that actually burns my throat. I have used other Garden of Life products in the past with satisfaction. I don't know what went wrong with this product but it's a major waste of money.
