Community Psychology: In Pursuit of Liberation and Well-being Second Edition

The book came in and was great quality. One of my fave books from my community psychology course! Would recommend!

that says it all...this book is incredibly well-written, accessible, and engaging. i read this book cover to cover, even the unassigned chapters, because i found it so fascinating. not only is it an excellent foundation for community psychology, but it takes the theoretical and provides practical applications. it's an awesome book&provides a solid framework for anyone interested in community psychology or who realizes that changes need to be made.

The book arrived on time and in pristine condition

To be fair, I did purchase this as a textbook. I found the first 3 chapters or so really difficult to read. Once I got the general idea though, I was able to skim much more efficiently, and the content is pretty good.I have recommended this to others interested in the field.

Bought this for my community psychology class last quatrter and it will stay on my bookshelf for as long as the binding holds it together! I'm not trying to lie - I almost died when I opened it up and saw the length and weight of this thing. I found the answers to any of the questions I had about some of the complicated theories and concepts of community psych such as the ecological metaphor and levels of analysis. Avoided sending at least 40 emails to my professor by using this as my reference. One to keep for the library

A must for CP work, in theory, research and practice of social change. This book is of an extreme clarity and coherence that provides an easy read for the explanation of heavy topics.

I bought this as it was the textbook for a community psych course, it is interesting, thought provoking and very relevant to everyday life. Really makes you want to get out there and do some psychology!

Need for class. Bought on Kindle. Investing read.
