So I have course, thick, wavy, curly, frizzy ugly hair. It's been on ongoing challenge for me my whole life. I've been using the Bio-ionic One Pass, but the results started getting very awful. My hair was bumpy and straw-like. After looking at reviews, I ordered this one, a brand I'd never heard of. I've used it twice now, and it's so wonderful. I've only used it with the pulse feature on, but it makes my hair shiny and smooth. I'm thrilled.

I have been using this straighter for a coupe of weeks now and I really like how it leaves my hair healthy and looking naturally straight in five minutes. It heats up super quick and gives you full control of heat to the degree. The iron seems to be very gentle on the hair - much more than my old HAI, but still straightens the hair without having to go over it more than once.A couple of other pluses: It has a lock mechanism that keeps it closed when you're not using the iron, which is super useful for storage, and I love that it has a swivel cord so the cord never gets tangled while I'm styling my hair.Great iron for a great price.

I did a lot of looking before I purchased a new flat iron, and I'm glad I bought this one instead of a pricier "prestige brand" iron. If you have fine hair like mine that is (very) wavy but not especially thick and/or hard to straighten, you might love this product as much as I do. (That being said, it might work just as well on thicker, hard-to-curl hair. I wouldn't know!)What I do know is that it's hard to find flat irons that have LOW temperature settings, which is what I needed. I never use settings above 300 degrees, and usually I use it down around 250 or even 210. If you don't need extreme heat, don't use it! Go as low as you can while still straightening effectively and save your hair the excess damage.Other things I really like -- the ceramic plates, which are much better for my fine hair type than titanium. I wanted ceramic with tourmaline for extra shine and these plates do the trick. They seem solid and of good quality, are very smooth, and so far have not scratched at all. They don't snag my hair, which is important. The digital readout is another great feature. I want to know exactly how hot my flat iron is, and not have to guess based on a dial setting that might get twisted around. I don't want to have to just trust that the temperature is where it should be.This flat iron has easy-to-use settings and heats up very quickly. The vibration feature is easy to turn off if you don't want to use it -- you just hit the power button a second time. I'm not sure whether or not the vibration makes a difference in preventing heat damage or straightening more effectively. It might, but it's hard to tell because it straightens perfectly without it. I kind of wonder whether the vibrating feature might contribute towards split ends though, since I know rubbing your ends together will do that. I turn it off half the time because I'm just paranoid like that. But if it is causing splits, I wouldn't be able to tell. It's been way too long since I got a haircut.tl;dr -- I got everything I could ever want in a flat iron at a bargain price!!

I bought the previous version of this hair straightener a few years ago from ulta beauty for almost $200 and prefer it over my CHI and GHD hair tools. It's one of the few hair irons that have an exact digital temp display so you have complete heat control.I definitely have less split ends and my hair seems to hold product much better. Not sure if its from the ionic thing but its a noticeable difference from the CHI hair straightener.I'm surprise to see it on Amazon at this price so I purchased a couple of these new models as christmas gifts.

Love it! My chi iron was at least a decade old and I hadn't realized how it was deteriorating until a plate fell off. I took a chance here by not buying a new chi and it was totally worth it.This is comfortable on your hand. You control the heat and the guide helps you find the right level and the display tells you when you get there. The iron is a good width for turning under if you want. My hair is so much shinier and so much less work than before. Can not recommend enough for the price.

I purchased 3 of these for each of my daughters for Christmas. They love it. It works very nice on their long hair. On Christmas day one of my daughter's used it right away and received many compliments on how nice her hair looked. The iron left her hair nice and shiny and healthy looking. Great price too!!

This is a nice flat iron. I originally owned a Brocato and saw that this is similar so I decided to give these a try since they look just alike for a fraction of the price. I do like these flat irons because I have really thick hair. They get my hair straight just not as straight as the one I compared them to. Overall for the price this is a great flat iron

Purchased this flatiron for a trip to England. It worked beautifully. I have wavy, thick and coarse hair and it is powerful enough to straighten it. It’s small size and dual voltage make it perfect for travel. Heats up super fast too. I actually like it a lot more than my full size flatiron. I’d highly recommend it if you need a powerful, travel-sized flatiron.

My hair is very long, thick and curly. I have always had trouble finding a straightening iron that wouldstraighten my hair quickly and that I didn't have to run it over my hair numerous times.I plugged it in, and within minutes it was ready to use.With my old straightening irons it took me about 45 min to get my hair the way I wanted it. There was still frizzand fly aways with the old one. It took me under 5 minutes to straighten my hair to perfection. I also like the digital tempurature display. It also looks like very high end.I am more than happy and pleased with how great it works. I will recommend to all my friends.

I have very fine hair that I like to curl and have straight ends. I bought this because the heating area is large and I wanted to have bigger curls/softer bend. I also liked the shape of the outside of the straightener, it has rounded outsides I thought it would be great for getting a nice curl. But it isn’t! Maybe I should have gone with the vibrating model? I’m not sure if it’s an uneven heating surface or the temperature displayed is wrong (I’ve experimented with high and low temps) but I’m just not able to get the look I want. I’ve been styling my hair with a straightener for the last 10 years so I’ve been through a few straighteners in my day, I know what I’m doing and use quality styling products. At first I thought it was just me getting used to holding and placing it it the right spots of my hair but no, it’s just not great. It straightens okay, but I find that my straightener from Winners heats up better, curls and straightens better, even though it’s smaller. So I’ve gone back to using my Winners straightener on a daily basis and I brought this one to the lake which just sits in a drawer because, lake hair, don’t care. I do love the clips it came with though, but I could have just bought those separately on Amazon.

Great flat iron for the price! I have very thick and long hair and the width is perfect, it also clamps down very nicely on the hair whereas other flat irons don't. There is such a long range to adjust for temperatures as well so you can choose which option is best for you. Definitely happy with my purchase!

This Mondava Pulse vibrating flat iron was purchased to replace my spouse's original vibrating flat iron (looks, & operates, exactly the same). She has now been using almost daily for over two months & she is quite pleased with it. Heats to specific temperature. Heats fast. Vibrates. Everything works as it should.

My 10 yo dd uses it on her super curly ringlets. Good heat, straightens as expected. Would recommend.
