It appears that the tub in this unit is lined with Teflon. Is that true?

It appears to be teflon, it's a non stick. This is a wonderful machine, our 2nd.

Is the user able to control temperature or is it all automatic? Is the display only in Centigrade?

you can adjust the temp at will...I use it probably 6 times a year. The construction of the maker is poor so it broke on me rapidly but still works...the band around the top lid came off first thing. For the cost of the machine, I am okay with the problems. Make sure you are using a pretty fresh garlic. If you buy your garlic from the store, it will likely be too old and may end up with super dry burnt garlic in the end. I would check at around the 200 hour point. I LOAD my trays as well...so it is SUPER full when I cook. Good luck!

What Temperature does it cook at? Thanks

I have mine on right now and it's running at 163.4°F (73°C), about 23° hotter than I'd like. I wish I knew more about electronics so I could mod this thing to run cooler.

Works like a charm! BREAKS EVEN EASIER!

I love love love this machine! I am on my second batch...works perfectly!HOWEVER...it BROKE! I just finished my batch and the hinge broke in half! I am 2 weeks past the return date and am NOT a happy camper. The plastic is FLIMSY!

How long to cook the garlic…

When using to make black garlic, set timer to 288 hour( 12 Days ) my first batch was to long!Check it at 250 hours, works great….😛

burnt everytime

This is burning my garlic. I have tried taking the garlic out early and then it is too soft. Wondering if the seller or anyone can give me advice. Right now I wasted money on the machine and buying garlic.

Eventually stopped working

It cooked several batches well and then I started getting batches that were light colored and dry
