They Work Well
Bought several of these to use in competition. Work as designed.

Love this Speed Loader
Also purchased these for my Chiappa Rhino. Works Perfectly and easy as can be to use.The first few tries of loading ammo I was having a problem getting the loader to actuate/click into locking position when I followed their instructions of placing the rounds on a hard surface, pressing down and twisting clockwise until it clicks. I believe I was pressing down way to hard.I found what works best for me is that after I have placed the rounds in the loader I cup/hold the loader in my hand with the bullets towards the back area of my index finger. The thumb, index finger and middle finger make a natural cup to secure the loader. Then using my other hand I gently push in on the handle of the loader and softly twist clock wise until it clicks. Was shocked how easily this process worked (At least for me.)Rounds eject perfectly and would totally recommend to anyone looking for a speed loader.

Change of Mind
I originally detested this reloader, however, possibly small pc. of plastic inside the locking mech. evidently kept proper function being. After locking n unlocking (something to "play" with, the mech. went into full lock and it does what supposed to! Suggest several "dry run break ins" before use

Compact & Fast
I’ve used Safariland speedloaders for many years. I really enjoy the compact size and usefulness of the comp II.Pluses: Very fast. (Faster than HKS). Holds rounds if fumbled or dropped. (Many other brands don’t).Negatives: Not as durable as HKS in my experience. I view these like an auto loading weapon’s magazine. Expendable. I keep several on hand for each wheelgun and replace at the first sign of any issues. HKS are tougher, but I still prefer the Safariland due to speed.Loading these takes some getting used to, but not really an issue once you get the hang of it.I recommend these as well as HKS, with these Safariland being my favorite.Buy with confidence

For my Chiapa rhino
Not great. Very hard to release the bullets into the cylinder. Won’t buy any more. Got better ones on eBay.

I would recommend that you dry fire with them
I used them in the 80's early 90's before the sheriff's office converted to semi-auto pistols as our service weapon.Recently I have been thinking about concealed carrying my Ruger Speed Six.357 magnum and need a faster way of reloading that takes up less space.I was loading from a 12 round leather cartridge carrier when hunting. Heaven forbid I get into a gunfight re-loading times would be critical.I would recommend that you dry fire with them. 6 empty cartridges in the revolver.Empty cartridges in the speed loaders. Dry fire and reload until all 18 rounds have been dry fired. Load up and do it again until dry firing and reloading with speedloaders is automatic and you don't have to look down to re-load, can focus on a target(s) the whole time. Then your ready for everyday carry.Tex SalernoRetired Defensive Tactics Instructor

Don't waste your money
Bought one of these speedloaders for my Ruger Security six just to try it. Youtube video showed it worked well so I thought I would give it a try. Even though it is the model called out for my pistol on Safarilands site it works maybe half the time. I have practiced with it for an hour or so and it just will not repeat; getting the rounds to insert into the cylinder is pretty frustrating, sometimes they go right in and sometimes one or more rounds are so misaligned you couldn't hammer them home. To spare somebody else the same frustration if I returned it I have smashed this pile in a vise and thrown it away. HSK here I come.

Seems like solid construction no issues
So far this seems like a solid product. I use it with my chiappa rhino and it works wonderfully. It took me a few tries to figure out that you have to push it into the slides only holding the sides to get it to release the rounds. I was trying to do it by pressing on the middle of the speed loader and it wasn't working. I carry this in my pocket all day and have never had an issue with it releasing rounds while in my pocket. I may buy a second one so that I can keep 18 rounds on me.
