Everyone has committed some chemical indignity to their hair. This is the stuff to reach for when you've really done a number on yourself. And it's one you can appreciate when the situation isn't as dire too.Last summer, I was in the sun a lot, had a perm, and then got a phone call while lightening my hair. The caller was a talker and the color was on my hair way too long. By the time I rinsed, my hair felt gummy and so unhappy. Plus, my roots were almost 2 shades lighter than the rest of my head.I called L'Oréal's helpline to find out how to safely dye the roots back to the right darker shade, and in the process of being counseled I was told by the rep to get a tube of this stuff too. I already had the version of this product that comes in a jar, and the rep said I could certainly use it but she believed the tube version was more intensive and would produce better results.Cutting to the chase... my hair felt like straw, the disrupted cuticles meant it was hopelessly tangled. This stuff was heaven sent. In the shower I got it distributed through my hair and was able to flip my head over and run my fingers through it and get all the tangles out. Great "slip". The benefits lasted outside the shower too, hair no longer looked as abused. I truthfully don't know if this product actually repaired the hair, but it definitely made it possible for me to manage and live with it til new healthy hair grew in.Back then I was using the stuff 4-5 times a week. Now my hair's back to normal and I use this only 1-2 times a week. The need now is not so extreme, but it still does a great job detangling and deep conditioning. The cost is reasonable and it's very worth trying.

I've been a fan of the Total Repair Extreme hair oil, but since trying this hair mask, it's also worked just as fast and great! My split ends have gone away, my hair has never felt better and healthy! I do wish it was priced a bit cheaper, but getting the two pack did save me time and money.
