IMUSA 11in Carbon Steel Nonstick Round Comal with Metal Handles, Black

I specifically bought this to warm up tortillas and wraps. It can fit 3-4 tortillas. I love how this makes them warm up quick and get them crispy. I don’t use this for anything else since it is tends to burn fast. It could start to rust the product overtime.

It started off good, but after about a month the non-stick seemed to deteriorate. Tortillas started sticking more and more, and got to a point where the residue from the tortillas that got stuck could not be removed even with heavy scrubbing. Also, there’s handles on the side, but the handles get super hot when heated. I don’t see the point of having handles if you need to put on oven mits just to use them.

I bought 2 of these. The first one worked well. I used it for warming tortillas, cooking scrambled eggs and grilled sandwiches. It should not be used on high heat. It worked well until I tried to cook a seasoned fish fillet. The seasoning stuck to the surface even though I had used a cooking spray. I ruined the finish trying to clean off the stuck seasoning. It was my fault for having the heat to high. I ordered a replacement because I did like warming tortillas on it. I recommend keeping the heat on medium and sticking to things like tortillas, pancakes grilled sandwiches. I wonder how many people that gave a 1 star review actually read the instructions. The instructions are clear to not use high heat or dip in water while hot.

Inexpensive heats up quick not durable but for the money works great. Handles get very hot but love it.

I bought this so I can heat up my tortillas. When it arrived it looked promising. But unfortunately when I put it to the test it did not do what I was expecting it to do. When I put it on my stove it started smoking as if it had something on it. And when I put on my tortillas on top of it they would stick to it and they would easily burn. Do I think it’s a good product? I mean if you’re looking to make tortillas on it I would say no. But if it’s just for something light then yes it’s a good product. For me it’s not the greatest. Because it heats up and unevenly. And everything gets stuck to it. I like the size of itAnd also I just noticed that It is starting to lose its shape. I believe it’s because of the heat I don’t think it’s made with good materials.

I use it pretty much just to warm my tortillas because I hate to put them in the microwave and it works perfectly.It's not thick so it warms fast.

De un material delgado, pero se siente de muy buena calidad. Calienta rápido, se lava fácil. Aún no lo he tenido suficiente tiempo para asegurar que no habrá manchas, ya que los comales que he tenido anteriormente con el uso terminan teniéndolas. Hasta ahora, va invicto! Me ha gustado mucho.

Not of good quality. There is a dent at one side of the tawa. Seems very fragile product.

Pan is not good quality not safe to use i just get it of it wasted my money

Lo compré porque creí que mi estufa no tenía el típico comal largo, pero si. En fin, si uso este redondo, al ser tan delgadito todo se caliente rapidísimo :( sé me queman las tortillas antes de que el queso Oaxaca se termine de derretir para las quesadillas.Al contrario de mi otro sartén largo que es más uniforme y no se calienta tan rapido.
