GREAT big light and worth every penny.
I like everything about this flashlight. I knew it was big but I didn't realize how big it was ans that makes me like it even more. I have dozens of lights in all sizes and makes but this is my first LED lenser and the craftsmanship of this light is amazing. Only listed at 1600 lumens but it seems brighter than that. I will be buying another one and did I mention that it comes in an awesome case. Big flashlight but couldn't be more happy and at a great price.

Worth the money
I have the coast version of this , and when I seen the lenser I bought it, it is very very very bright, it has a better spot then the coast hp21, if some give this a bad review for performance, they are an idiot, this thing lights up my neighborhood, it out shines anything I've seen to its size, and the battery life is great, if I could use anot her one I'd buy it for sure , on low it's better than most light you'll buy from the local stores,

This LED Lenser x21.2 is a deal at $79.99! I enjoy it and its basic flood beam performance.
The media could not be loaded. Now this review is of a LED Lenser x21.2 that is being retired by the company directly. This is a good time to get a nice flashlight kit which will provide 1500 lumens of flood or throw. This runs on 4 D size batteries of which NiMH or Alkaline can be used. This light you can choose to zoom or focus it to increase throw or a large flood beam, This uses seven LED's. This is a solid flashlight kit and batteries you can buy just about anywhere in case of emergency. The style and design of the light is nice. The build quality and machining of this flashlight is excellent. See my video review of this light. Nice chance to get this flashlight classic for this price.Cons: The light is big and long. PWM makes this hard for photographers or use in video. Over priced when new. Uses Alkaline which are prone to leak. Keep batteries separated when storing light for long periods.Pros: Uses common D batteries which can be bought anywhere. Brighter and better build than any Mag-Lite or Brinkmann etc. Large flood beam. Nice throwing power. Runtimes are almost 10 hours on the 1500 lumens output. You can use NiMH rechargeable or lithium 1.5v batteries.

Powerful torch
It’s not Germany made but sturdy and clean looking. Works powerfully in the dark. I don’t see a pint of having such a big plastic case though. Once opened, it really should stay outside where convenient in case of emergencies.

NOT AS BRIGHT AS ORIGINAL
I bought the original x21 about 4 years ago for $350 so when I seen this x21.2 pop up on Amazon for $79 plus it was 500 more lumans I had to get it. It looks just like the original one BUT IT IS NOT NEARLY AS BRIGHT AS THE FIRST WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Darn bright but...
Run time. Good. Brightness, very good, focus, okay. A bit heavy, but the included carry strap is good if you take it on patrol.Five year warranty does not cover the switch, which gave out soon after I got it. Could not get it fixed or replaced fro the life of me. I wanted one of these since they came out and were $750. Finally got one, and loved it for a short time until it failed. The problem was with a threaded retainer ring. Unscrew the head and look inside the tube. The ring in mine was plastic and bowed out, under the pressure it was holding back, then it gave way one day. Pop. Now I cant get it to work properly. Useless to me. If it were not for that, it would be my favorite flashlight ever. As it is, the LED lenser P17 is still my favorite. Now I have an expensive paper weight.

Best $100 spent on a 4 D-cell light
There are newer, brighter and more compact flashlights out there but for the price, this 4 D-cell flashlight can't be beat. The closest competitor would be the Fenix TK70 (which I already own) but that is no longer available. Granted this has only 2 levels of brightness, no regulation and minimal waterproof rating, this has something that the TK70 doesn't have - ability to focus. A flood beam is sometimes more useful than a focused beam.Maglite does not have a 4 D-cell LED flashlight on the market and hence this is the only focusing 4 D-cell LED light on the market.
