War Leaders: Clash of Nations - PC

I bought this game, "War Leaders clash of nations," after waiting for several years. Although I enjoy the game, champagne mode, and multiplayer battles, it crashes sometimes. Admittedly, I do not think this is a fault with the game itself, rather my laptop does not handle the graphics or some other thing. In other words, I think the issue can be easily fixed. Nonetheless, I am still able to enjoy it for what's it's worth. Unfortunately, they will never make another game like this again (due to political correctness).In short, anyone interested in exploring the real history of WW2, as it unfolded, or wants to reenact or even change history, in a strategy-based-turn/RTS mode, then this game is the game for you.

I'm a big wargaming fan, have been since the long gone days of table top miniatures and avalon hill and SPG board games.This game I didn't expect alot out of, but it has failed even that.I don't know if the game can be playable or not, but there is one issue that this game has, that Enigma Software is refusing to address or to even support, and that is, everytime you go into a land battle, the game will crash to desktop.This isn't a matter of video drivers, or drivers this or drivers that. It's a matter of the game being a piece of flaming junk.Save yourself some money and aggravation and avoid this thing like the plague.

Sorry guys this was a big disappointment. Beat the game in less than a day at the normal settings. The game was a good concept but lacked depth and feel. I liked how the battles played out but really it is just a poor attempt to bring a Total War aspect to the WW2 field. The research tree unimaginative and narrow in its choices. A complete lack of re playability. Over all if you need a new game in this field try it if you can get it cheap otherwise save your cash for something better.

This is a fantastic game that allows the user to control or automate several operations inlcuding: researching technology, collecting taxes, recruiting and ordering troops, and constructing buildings and fortifications. This is essentially a Civilizations game set in WWII. The graphics are good, the controls are easy, it allows you to play as one of the superpower's leader from WWII. You can adjust many settings to your liking and you can control the troops in individual battles or simulate the battle. If you like strategy games or WWII games, and especially if you like both, this is a must buy.

got it pretty cheap, so i'm not too upset. what it boils down to is it's supposed to be a mix of RTS and RISK, which is an awesome concept (hence why i bought it). the RISK part, turn based war game, was pretty fun and thats mostly all i play this game as now. the 3d globe map is pretty darn cool, i really like the diplomacy and internal affairs aspect, really neat! the RTS portion was...eh ok i guess. maybe its just my computer not being all that great, but judging from other reviews its a common issue, it was near impossible to play. the landscape texturing goes haywire and you are pretty much blind the whole time. however when you can actually see your units, well detailed and would be great if the game wasnt as buggy. the explosions were really good, sounds pretty decent. i am a bit disappointed, but didnt really expect the best judging from my research of this game and the price. so, if you are looking for a pretty decent 3d version of WWII RISK (I thought the real WWII personalities was pretty cool), then go for it! (the historic accuracy variation settings is pretty cool and gives you some extra play room). the RTS was for me: almost crap. the concept is great and if you can get it to work, then more power to you. not terrible all in all, but im sure there's better out there.

This is a great game and can provide hours of entertainment. Now a warning, it can get a bit too complicated for the casual gamer, but they even have a quick or custom battle mode for that. My only real complaint was that during campaign mode some of the events weren't very historically accurate. But this is a great game and worth the time to play it.

This is the worst game I've ever purchased for support.......there is NO support my game crashes after 5 minutes of play everytime. I've downloaded ever patch and none will install. I searched for days on the internet only to find that most people have the same problem and can't play the game at all without it crashing. The game was originally made for German language and coveted to English very poorly thats why it crashes. I paid money for this game and theres nothing I can do to fix it because there is zero support for the game.
