Rachael Ray47901 Multi Stainless Steel Grater, Agave Blue

Thank you RR for designing this tool. I watch RR use it on her show all the time and saw how well it worked, so I had to get me one. I used it for the first time tonight and it grated my ginger like never before. It sure beats getting my stand up grater/zester out and using it. I love how this sits right on top of the pan or bowl. Yay.

After I watched Rachel Ray on U-Tube demonstrating the grater, I ordered several for gifts and one for myself. I am very disappointed with the performance. It does not produce nice grated cheese. The cheese came out like flakes. I also found the grater clumsy to use, and it slipped off the bowl. I will use it no longer. I'm going back to my trusty box grater.

Yes, it is expensive compared to others BUT it is far superior to anything out there. It grates garlic perfectly and though I have not used the larger end yet, I am am sure it won't disappoint. I think the best quality of this grater is its size and how it is curved so that it can stand alone over a cutting board or be placed over bowls, pots for ease of use. It cleans up far easier than my other graters.All in all, it is a high quality item and an ingenious design. Whenever I need to grate garlic, I think to myself "Oh goody! I get to use my new grater!"

It's really good at what it does..but a bit dangerous..I cut myself twice using it and have given up on using it now sadly.

I think they used a bicycle to get it here. It took 12 days to get to me. Other than that, it is a fantastic product. It sits right on the pot as one grates in garlic or ginger. I have other graters but this one is the best.

Bigger than I thought but works great. You do have to be careful with the garlic but i did manage to grate it down without wasting any.

Before I started streaming channels, I watched the Rachel Ray show on my local station. I cook with garlic a lot and cannot stand garlic presses. I was looking for an easier way to get the garlic cut up when I saw her using this grater. I thought, "That's just what I need!" So I bought it. I was astounded at how big this thing is. I guess I didn't pay that much attention to size while while watching Rachel Ray cook. I find it very hard to hold onto, plus I don't like the smell of garlic on my hands so always wear disposable gloves when handling garlic. Can't tell you how many times when using this grater that I grated plastic glove into my garlic, which is why I don't grate the garlic directly into what I am cooking, but grate it onto a paper plate. This grater is EXTREMELY sharp! I have cut myself several times when using it, which is what prompted me to give it to a friend who cooks a lot more frequently than I do. Don't get me wrong, it's a great grater to have, But I do think that it needs to come with a set of instructions and some safety recommendations. There was absolutely Nothing of that sort in the box it came in, which Really surprised me. I do recommend it as a product, but also with the caveat about how sharp it is, so use accordingly.

Bought this item for my wife after seeing Rachael with it on her show. Personally, I have not had the opportunity to utilize this gadget, however, I can say with a high degree of confidence that my wife love it!

I've been using a regular long grater, But I also grate garlic so I ordered this one, first time using it I was zesting a lemon and took the skin off of my finger-Ouch!! I'm not used to the curve in this grater, so hopefully I'll be able to keep the skin on when I grate garlic, extremely sharp so be careful

I use this item daily. Never even makes it to a cupboard or drawer. I use a lot of garlic, ginger and this tool is perfect for this. Works so much better and faster than a garlic press. It’s also super easy to clean. I’ve used it a few times to shave chocolate or nuts as well. Mostly to decorate the top of a dessert.Get it! You won’t be disappointed.

Wasn’t expecting this to be so WIDE, which makes it a pain to store but its so fun to use! Does a great job on cheese on the fatter side too

Because it is sloped it’s so easy to place over a bowl and use. I love it!

I was very happy to order this item. Unfortunatly I am not happy with it at all. When using over a bowl, it slips and slides. The fine end of the grater is just to fine! It is sharp though, but I also find it very overpriced. Holding it in your hand while grating is also awkward.
