New AF Turkish bow Short Bow 20-50lbs Handmade Laminated Traditional Recurve bow

I own 3 Turkish bows. The other 2 are Grozer and Alibow, but this one has become my daily shooter. I have a hard time putting it down! It is snappy and accurate. I have already put thousands of arrows thru it, and no complaints. As a bonus, it looks nice, too.My archery instructor tried it out, kept remarking on how much he liked it, and then he ordered one. My husband keeps borrowing mine, so he will be getting one too (A surprise. Don't tell!).This is a great little bow.

I wanted to wait until I'd had some time with the bow to review it. I've taken it to the range about 6 times now.The only negative I have for this was that it was packed in a box with no padding whatsoever. I was quite nervous it would be damaged over the long transit, but I inspected it and it's fine. It did come with a cool looking Chinese-patterned bag that I like very much, though it is not padded.The construction and quality look great, but I imagine in a few years I'll have to replace the leather grip. I think that's to be expected though.I chose this model because it was the shortest I could find and I wanted to develop intuitive and unconventional shooting. Putting the arrow on the right side, left handed shooting...etc.With the provided string my bow shoots smoothly, quietly, and consistently. The arrows I was using did not have enough spine for the low draw weight (25#) and were fishtailing to the left at first. I bought heavier tips and it now shoots quite straight. At some point I'd like to get a set of arrows that are truly matched to the bow and my draw.This is the only bow if this style I've shot, but my friends and I all really enjoy it, and my Samick Sage has become the bow I bring for friends to shoot. It's nice to have the Sage to practice with a sight though, shooting more Olympic style and using the AF Turkish to shoot intuitive.Overall I would definitely recommend this for anyone interested in intuitive shooting, and I like the lower draw weight because I can shoot longer and have more fun. At it's size and with the low draw weight it would also be a great youth bow, but is maybe a bit expensive for a kid's first bow, and it needs to be treated and stored carefully as it's extremely lightweight. I feel the Sage can be banged around a bit more without taking damage.If they step up the packing this would be a perfect deal. But since mine came undamaged and I love shooting it they get 5 stars from me.

We target shoot for fun and have had ours for almost a year. Ended up buying more than one of these as they are well crafted and a light draw for the pounds. Just got another convert and she adores hers and will use it for archery from horse back. She says it is a perfect fit for this. Our go to recommendation to our friends.

Shoots great! No vibration. Shorter limbs hold up to the heat better. Great beginner Bow for horse archery!!!

When I got the box I was a bit worried. The bow is fairly small and incredibly light. But after some time with it I gotta say, I love it, this bow is pretty amazing. Love the way it shoots and feels in your hand. Also came with a nice booklet that gave some helpful tips and walked you through the process of stringing the bow. I'm definitly going to check out this sellers other products. Without a doubt my new favorite bow
