The filter is awesome at stopping sediment and the pump make for sanitary racking into bottles. Easy to use and serves it's function. Great bit of kit for the cost

Easy to sterilise. Works well but pipe is thin so flow is slow. Longer lead off pipe would be an advantage in getting beer to bottle with minimum oxygen. I added an extra piece!

I’m using it to siphon beer from my fermentation jars into conditioning containers, and then to bottles. It’d be slightly better if it could apart to be cleaned, but I rinse it out with hot soapy water, and then sterilise it between uses. To stop air getting into the beer I’m holding the end as close to the surface and against the side as possible - it’d be better if there was a longer tube after the suction thingy bit…but otherwise I think it works pretty well.

Make siphoning wine easy

Came with a nice pinhole in the tube, which I didn't notice until I'd racked 20L. It's probably nicely oxygenated the entire brew and ruined it.How does something like this even happen during manufacture of a tube, which arguably has one requirement: be air/liquid-tight for its whole length?That aside, the product is alright. The syphon works, but takes a fair bit of pumping and "technique" to get it primed. The gauge of the tubing is quite small, so transferring large quantities of liquid takes a while.The filter mesh isn't fine enough to avoid picking up trub/ dregs, so you still need to be a bit careful with this.

Used this product for siphoning a home brew from a one gallon glass carboy. Fitted perfectly in the top and did the job brilliantly with little to no sediment coming through even with it right at the bottom of the carboy. Best product I've used yet. Easy to use with no mess and fantastic value for money. Brought another straight after for someone else. Only downside is not the easiest product to clean but can't help that!

Haven't used one of these for over 25 years and I still remember the taste from sucking it to start it off.I honestly didn't expect this pump part to work. Unbelievably easy to use. 2 pumps and DONE 👍Hope this helps 👍
