Not good enough
Interesting package - this one.The toy is essentially a working model that the child builds (potentially with parental help). Here is everything that you need to know1. Packaging - the toy came in a padded brown bag. There wasn’t even a box. So - definitely not something that you can gift.2. Instructions- picture with some explanations written in Chinese. I got stuck on a couple of occasions and had to use google lens. This was a big issue.3. Inside the box - I got 5 plates of engineered wood which could be cut out. There were some basic electric circuitry.4. Ease of making / adult supervision - adult supervision is probably needed. Especially, if you don’t want your kids soldering stuff. Similarly, a majority of pieces had to be glued and it wasn’t always easy. However, there were only 29 steps and perseverance paid rich dividends.5. Verdict- while I like such DIY toys, I am not okay with getting everything in a basic bag without English instructions.
