buggies unlimited Portable Propane Golf Cart Heater 3000 BTU

The gas knob was stuck on the off position. I had to get a wrench to open it up the first time. Hence 3 starsI could not find any reviews talking about lighting it. Just problems on it not working right or difficulties with it working.There is a thermocouple by the sparkier that requires heat to keep the gas going. I turned up the gas knob to about 1/2 way. Clicked and held the lighter button until the flame stabilized across the screen. Then let go of the button and it stayed on. If it goes out it most likely means the thermocouple isn't hot enough yet and relight it. Just like a gas hot water heater.Hope this helps others

Very hot and works great ! click once and hold for a bit to prime then click and hold till its lit 4 hour burn time Thanks Jon h

Anyone have a problem getting it to light. I've tried many times and it will puff a small flame but never fully light.

Despite following all directions and making all the recommended adjustments the heater would not ignite. Had to return the product for credit and find another propane heater

Have to send back because it want light. Have bought 2 others from buggies unlimited and they work fine and have used them for 3 years.Buggies unlimted is charging a 20% restocking fee and are requiring me to pay the shippingto return a defective product that would not work out of the box.

The auto ignighter (sp) lasted about one day. unless it is on high it did not stay lit. I did have to adjust it to work.

This is a dependable heater. It does not turn off when going over bumps. However the sleave is loose when you put it in the cart cup holder. It fix this, we wrapped the base of the cupholder with a thin cloth (or shelf liner) and duct tape.
