Does it take good pics ??

I bought one for my wife and to be honest she had a hard time taking good photos with it - it seemed that no matter how hard she tried she could not get sharp photos. I ended up buying her a Canon PowerShot ELPH 110 HS and that is a far superior camera.

how many mm wide lens is it?

I am not an expert, by a mile. I can tell you that this camera states 5.0 mm (to 25.0 mm at 5X zoom). It's written on my actual camera <--- Canon et al. Hope that helps!
