Nature's Gate Organics Shampoo, Lemongrass & Clary Sage, 12 Ounce (Pack of 3)

thinking these may be pass their shelf life as far as the scent/extracts goes for there is barely none. i smell no lemongrass which was the main reason i bought this shampoo. shampoo smells like your basic henna shampoo scent that has no fragrant added in to me.lathers enough if you use a decent amount but, i feel the need to shampoo twice (which is okay, 3 bottles for $20 instead of the $36 i paid for one bottle of my previous lemongrass shampoo is well worth having to use more shampoo although the pricier one smells awesome). does seems to make my hair feel thicker and actually soft without me using conditioner afterwards.I do like it enough to rebuy when i run out but, i will be buying some pure lemongrass oil or pure lemon oil to add to it cause i prefer to be able to smell my shampoo when i am washing my hair...

This is a good quality shampoo and I was looking for pure ingredients, which are hard to find in shampoos. I do find that I need quite a lot of it, though, as it doesn't lather that well (probably a good thing, but it does mean that you tend to use more). I like the smell, too, and it doesn't seem to dry hair out like some shampoos. I wouldn't recommend it for greasy hair, though.

I have tried different types of shampoo and conditioner (Avalon organics, Aubrey organics, etc) this was the only one that has ever worked for me. Using both shampoo and conditioner has really made my hair beautiful and soft (leave the conditioner sit for awhile in your hair so it soaks up!) I have even tried Natures Gate Organics Lavender and Aloe and that didn't really work on my hair. This is the only one. Besides, it has a really calming smell that smells great and guys like the smell. Highly recommend this to anyone!!!

Feels and smells very natural. Lightens my hair a bit. I have color-treated hair and with conditioner (I use a different brand from Whole Foods) makes my hair the softest!

This shampoo is amazing. I have fine hair and it cleans and rinses without weighing the hair down at all. You can't buy this product expecting it to behave just like other shampoos. It doesn't have sodium lauryl sulphate in it, which is a chemical foaming agent that gives you the lather in other products. That's why you'd want to buy this shampoo, so you can avoid harmful chemicals. It has a clean smell. My favorite "healthy" shampoo.

I cannot get enough of the smell of this shampoo! It is absolutely amazing! I love the way this shampoo works with my naturally wavy hair. It doesn't weigh it down, and it gives it just the right amount of body and softness.

This shampoo along with the conditioner works GREAT for fine hair. It makes my grey hair shine and keeps it under control. Just love the way my hair smells and feels and you don't need to use a lot of shampoo to get the job done. I'm sure you will not be disappointed with this product!

I don't know that I have given one star for anything, but this shampoo definitely gets it. I was really excited to try this shampoo, I mean, c'mon! Lemongrass and sage. Two of my favorite things ever. So, when I opened my box, I pulled out one of the bottles, untwisted the cap and...gross. I can't describe the smell. It's one of those things that can only be understood by someone's facial expression. It's that bad. However, I tried it anyway, simple because of what it is said to do. That did not happen either. My hair was soo static-y and limp, I just couldn't believe it. I will be returning these, and definitely am disappointed about it.
