Fantastic Fit
I’m impressed, the body lines fit nicely in my 2006 Chevy Impala. I appreciate how many different pieces there are to fit so many different models and aftermarket radios with such a great price. The only like I have to say is that it wasn’t quite plug in play with the wire harness. The connectors match and fit just fine with the wire harness, but when I turned the key to turn on the radio, it didn't turn on. I checked my power and ground wires, which were good. And then I forgot that these things must have a switched power wire, basically a little relay to allow battery power to the radio. I found out that the Solid Red 12v Switched Power wire that comes built in the harness, didn’t plug into anything on the factory connector. The red switch wire pin went into an empty slot in the factory connector. So if you have a problem with the radio not coming on, check all your connections in detail. All I had to do was cut the red wire next to the connector to have enough length, and find a different a factory wire that gives volts only when the key is turned to ignition. Cut the factory wire, strip both ends, crimp on one end, and crimp the other end of that factory wire, AND the red switched power wire on the other end of the crimp. I also noticed that the harness doesn't have an orange and white dimmer wire, but its not required so it still worked just fine after that. Very convenient that it comes with some red and blue crimps and some eye hole crimps for ground bolts. Also comes with some extra red wire. Everything trim piece is plastic, but its not like cars don’t already have plastic anywhere so thats fine, its sturdy, looks great. I installed my radio before my after market speakers and it definitely helped the factory speakers sound a lot better so this harness has good connections, nothing loose for me.

Works fine, you may need to figure out how to get switched power (acc circuit)
This worked out ok, the instructions make sense, the wires are all color coded correctly, the butt connectors kind of aren’t super great but did the job.In my 2009 Chevy Silverado 1500, the wire/pin for acc (switched power) corresponds to an empty hole in the wiring harness that comes up out of the dash. I used a multimeter and tests all of the pins, there is no acc wire in the Chevy harness, took me a while but I had to run a wire through the firewall and used and add-a-tap to connect it to a switched circuit. The radio will not turn on if the acc wire doesn’t get power. (You can wire the acc into that main power wire and use the on/off button on the radio, however my radio had a clock screen that you could not turn off unless the radio wired into a switched circuit.)I don’t have steering wheel controls in my base model truck so I didn’t buy the expanse module to wire to wheel controls/door chimes, but that also means I lost the clicking sound when you use turn signals, I had no idea that sound was no longer an actual mechanical sound…

not worth the money
The antenna wire only goes up to 2005, so is useless. The connector for the radio, also useless, doesn't match my 2010 impala, at all. The kit had no screws in it, so if you get this, better get some screws.I'd get the metra kit, instead of this.

Works but not amazing
It works, but no matter how you adjust everything (and you will have to adjust it because, unlike the stock radio, it has a lot of wiggle room) it will still have some unsightly gaps. The color also doesn't really match like it's not even the same texture. I feel like that wouldn't have been that hard for them to get right...The kit comes with a lot of stuff which is nice, but you do have to fiddle around to figure out the right thing that fits your vehicle. It comes with wiring, but thanks to GM you'll need a seperate expensive adapter if you want to keep your chime, blinker click, steering wheel controls and probably auto dim.I installed a 9 inch radio so it worked for me, but I'd get something that matches better if you want it to look nice (my pictures don't make it look too bad, but it looks worse in real life). It works and isn't too pricey so if looks aren't your main concern it's probably fine.
