Not much good for anything. STAY AWAY
Thought I was getting a decent deal by getting this saw when others at the local big-box stores were $20 for the bit and another $20 for the saw. Wish I had believed the negative reviews and put the money towards something more legit. This thing lost it's edge so fast I could barely remember it was ever sharp to begin with. First cut I used it for was going through the side of my 100+ yr old house to install a bath vent. Old aluminum siding with nothing but wood behind it. Barely made it through the wood shingles it dulled so fast! I kept using it because - well what else was I going to do with it? After 2 holes though the old lath & plaster ceiling (installing new lighting) it was so dull some of the teeth were practically gone!Look - if all you need to do is drill some drywall then this thing might be your ticket, but don't count on it to last more than perhaps a dozen holes through drywall at most. If you're trying to cut wood then I'd say this thin will maybe make it through 2 holes, if that.Only reason I'm giving this 2 stars is because I can use the bit in other hole saws and the drill bit it came with was decent. But the hole saw itself is just crap. Don't buy this unless it's a once-and-done job. After a hole or two it's good for nothing but steel scrap.

Good price, works great
This is a well made tool. A few comments based on negative reviews. There are slots in the side of the saw. Stick a big screwdriver through two of them and tighten the arbor with a wrench. Then it won’t come loose. And when cutting soft material like drywall, any saw will grab. Run your drill at a very slow speed, grip it firmly and go s l o w. This is great for recessed lights and regular ceiling boxes.

Worked great for our project!
We were adding some speakers to the back panel of my boss' pontoon and these worked great for it! The Kicker speakers wanted this size hole drilled so we used this to cut through the aluminum side wall of the pontoon rail and then we used it to drill through a cedar backing board for the inside of the aluminum for support. It worked as well as any hole saw I have ever used as far as wobble or runout is concerned. It cut just fine. There are a few measurement photos I have uploaded if it helps anyone, also there are two photos of the unit after all 4 holes were done to show how it held up. I would buy another if I had to.

Giving it a 4 star because there is a better product available
Definetly not a Lenox brand holesaw but I purchased this only expecting to need it for 1 hole which was through the painted steel on my pole garage for a 4" bath fan duct. Lenox holesaws go through the painted steel much quicker but cost 2x as much. Worked for what I needed it to and it is now with my other holesaws incase I ever need it again. Giving it a 4 star because there is a better product available.

If you want something cheap and disposible, this is it.
I wasn't expecting much for the price, but it actually had a fairly solid backing piece. However the whole thing was definitely not square. Wobbled all over the place. Can't speak for the quality of the teeth against metal since I actually used it for adobe. I have an adobe house with 12 inch walls. I needed to drill a hole for a dryer vent. So I bored a couple inches with this, then knocked the core out, drilled a couple more inches, etc. It failed about 3 inches from the end. The threads that hold the mandrel to the saw stripped and it just started spinning freely.

does the job
Did the job. Went through the inside of a basement wall through my siding just fine. I'm not sure how many times you can use it, but it worked for the one time i needed it

Did my job well enough. Drilled 3 holes, ...
Did my job well enough. Drilled 3 holes, two through drywall, one through plywood sheathing. Starter bit does not have tabs that fit into the 4 1/4 bit to keep the bit from rotating off the starter bit. Must tighten very well. Not able to reverse the bit or it will unscrew. That part is bothersome.

Works great!!!
When I got this I didn't think it would do the job cuz the saw doesn't feel very sharp but it worked great!!! I did go by a better middle peice with the prongs to help it go through walls better. With the extra peice it worked great!!!
