Olivia features a 2-position mechanism that will support a 45 pound machine and move your sewing machine into the flatbed and freearm positions. Pull the quick release lever forward to make your sewing well become flush with the top and use Olivia as a desk or another hobby table. You'll find plenty of storage for your small notions with 2 drawers and 2 deep cubbies for storage of your sewing machine, serger or baskets of fabric. Olivia's wide table top surface allows you to sit center needle comfortably and have plenty of space both on the left and right side of your sewing machine. Olivia has a durable design with composite construction and a vinyl laminate that should last for a lifetime of sewing projects.

A decent table with the features I wanted
I decided on this sewing table because I wanted one that allowed me to sew at the table height and wasn't portable or folded up. I was very excited when I found the Olivia had the features and the looks I wanted. However I have to admit for the price I paid, I was somewhat disappointed in the quality of the wood as well as the instructions (we have put together A LOT of furniture, and the instructions were some of the more confusing we have seen). The desk is decent & I will be keeping it, I just wish the whole desk had been made of real wood and a little better quality or at a lower price.
