excellent all around pack
been looking for a good all around rucksack. i can day hike, bike etc... and is big enough to carry some loot for me and the family. i think this one covers the scope. the only thing i wish is that back was a bit firmer. all in all the fit is great. several features i like, even though its top loading you have a part zippered side to get into the bag with opening the top. the back pocket is large enough to fit a helmet. lots of compression straps. i would recommend this backpack to anyone looking for an all purpose bag.

A great Gregory product and serves my short day hike
A great Gregory product and serves my short day hike, airport, short city trip purposes. I took spirit airlines a lot and bought the bare fare ticket. Meaning the price included bag is smaller than normal carry on. My other 40L backpack with hard frame cannot bend to fit into accepted free bag size. As this one is soft framed, I can give extra bend and it will fit. Using outdoor backpack for spirit airline might not be a normal scenario. But I just like the style of the outdoor bags and the rack sack does carry more than computer backpacks. Yes it's not designed to carry laptop and electronics like chargers, but I can live with that. Also this is my lightweight hiking bag. The soft frame suspension is acceptable to me as long as I don't carry too much weight. When belt tied I can still feel some support with my hip. I don't do trail runs so didn't use that part of this bag. The typical curly frame like Z series makes the vehicle transportation slightly more complicated. And the gap between my back and bag makes it harder to fit to my dresses in urban scenario. But there is no such problem with this miwok. I haven't tested hiking with long time with this and feel whether my shoulder get tired. Some drawbacks are the main wide strip that bucks the top cover is not easy to pull and compress. Also I'm not sure how the foams in the straps will become when they soak in sweats. EDIT: just found the internal sack to hang hydration bag can be used to place a 13 inch laptop nicely!Picture: see the picture of this thing fits right into spirit airlines' free package (with a little bend on the top). Also this thing surely holds more than 34L! I think it's even close to 40L. I tested this with osprey manta 36 with bladder removed, and this 34 miwok holds a lot more.

Four Stars
Great pack for day hikes or weekend overnights. Has held up well and is comfortable on climbs.

Well built pack for travel and adventure
Comfortable, lightweight, and great capacity for a daypack. I haven't tried it for trail running but could imaginedand plan to use on a multi-day adventurest or fast packs. Unlike most packs, it's essentially frameless. It rests close danand moves with the body. However there is still a vapor barrier created by porous foam on the back. Highly recommendFits easily in overhead compartment for air travel. There isn't a great place to put a lock so probably not best for a check-in bag. However I've used it several times as a personal bag in addition to having a carry on and had no problems.

Nice pack
Frameless. I got a large because it is supposed to fit a 22" torso. Close, but not really. Good for 20"-21". Really is good enough, because of the size, and weight, it feels pritty good. The straps on the top of the shoulders are just a little bit low for me. They run straight across, and should be higher up. A large is a 37L so Gregory says. I'm guessing that is just the main compartment? With the compartment on the lid, and other outside pockets, it must be more. You can fit alot of stuff in this little pack. I have plenty of room for a 3 day hike in the summer. 20lbs main gear plus food. It all fits in the pack. Me having a 22" torso, and a 30" waist this is probably one of the best fitting small frameless packs I am going to find, especially for the price. 4 stars, because i don't believe this is a true 22" torso pack.

Love the hydration bag access
Love the hydration bag access. Have worn on several day hikes with 15 to 25 lbs. and no problems. Had to learn to adjust pack, versus the Baltoro I have. Plenty of space and love the light weight
