MartinLogan Dynamo 700 10-inch Wireless Ready Subwoofer (Single, Black) (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

I bought this ML-700 sub to pair with my ML-1000 when it's on sale. Its' barely differ from ML-1000, the ML-700 still handles heavy and clean bass even with its small size. I pair the ML-700 and ML-1000 with my B&W 683 and 685 by connecting bi-amp with Marantz receiver, it makes an ultimate stereo sound --clear, detail, with heavy and smooth bass; it's well-blended. I also bought Klipsch SW-311 to pair with my system when I saw deep discount price, but it made my system sound worse-- too loud,rough sound not smooth-- I had to return it after a week, and Amazon quickly refunded me, and I picked the ML-700 for good discount price and it makes my sound system much better. I'm happy with it, no more return will keep it to its life. I would buy a pair of this ML-700 if I did not have the ML-1000 because it almost sounds the same with a great discount price even an old model, it just works perfectly. If you are looking for smooth and beautiful sound for music or movies, consider B&W or Martinlogan with Marantz brand name, they won't disappoint you, and you don't feel exhausted even listening for hours.

I love this subwoofer. It is expensive so it is not a very good value for the money, but it produces beautiful sound, and it is wireless. You do not have to worry about wires, and wireless works perfect. It does not require any settings, and you plug it in and it simply works. You can set it up so that it can be downward facing or forward facing. Downward facing produces the best sound, and I love it. You just need to be careful not to lift it up from the bottom as your fingers will damage the speakers. Highly recommended if you have several hundred bucks laying around.Update: There seems to be a design flaw with these units. It started blowing fuse after repeated attempts of replacing the fuse. I called the customer support and they said it is a power board failure and the cost of the board alone is $270+shipping+labor to replace. They recommended using it for parts. a $700 piece of electronics should last longer than this. All the other pieces I bought along with this sub (from Definitive, Yamaha and Klipsch) are still functioning like brand new, except this. While it is a great sub while it lasts, beware of the power module. There seems to be lot of complaints around the same issue by many users experiencing similar failures after 3 years. No more Martin Logan for me. I am pretty disappointed with Martin Logan. There are better companies out there who design their products to last.

I've owned this great subwoofer since Mar 2012. It performs great with both movies and music. My small home theater room walls / sofa vibrates during Blu-Ray movies such Battleship and Warhorse. Sub is rated as -3db at 24HZ and gets below 20Hz. I've turn the level knob to the halfway point and EQ'd to -1 at 40hz. This gives me less boom during music but great performance during movies. Wireless receiver was included in box, although Amazon still lists it as not included.

Hooked the sub up and it worked as expected for first month. Then, it started pulsing random bass tones when in use and out of use. Very annoying and disruptive. So far, can't control it unless its powered off.

Purchased this to pair with my ML Soundbar & Panasonic Plasma -  MartinLogan Motion Vision Gloss Black Virtual 5-Channel Speaker Bar  & Panasonic VIERA TC-P55VT50 55-Inch 1080p Full HD 3D Plasma TV While the soundbar sounded great by itself, with the added low end from the sub, it now sounds amazing! I use this in my living room for very clean and simple solution for room filling sound. I mounted my Cable Box & Apple TV behind my TV & mounted that & the soundbar to the wall. The sub runs wirelessly with a signal build into the soundbar, so there are not any visable wires, speakers, or random equipment scattered all over the place. This gets big decorating points in my book while not sacrificing high quality full range sound.Highly recommended!

This has been one of the best additions to my home audio. I replaced an older sub that was a good one, but this one is amazing! The clarity and power of the base is dramatically improved. I am impressed such a small unit can have such an impact!

I am ecstatic over the MartinLogan Dynamo 700. It is hard to believe how much sound comes out of such a compact box. This Amazon purchase was a real winner. It's hard to beat MartinLogan for rich, deep base. We haven't gone wireless since our place was already hard wired but love having that option in the future if we want to move the box. I highly recommend this sub, especially for media rooms on the small side like ours at 12' x 22'.

wow! am hearing bass music that i never heard before! why did i wait so long? it replaced a 15 year old infinity ssw-10 servo subwoofer. can't believe all the bass music i missed all these past years! excellent buy!
