I LOVE LOVE LOVE This Bible So Much!! 😇💖
The Color Of This Bible Is Absolutely Gorgeous To Me. When I First laid My Eyes On This Bible, I Was Like I Had To Own A Copy Of This. Plus, It's The King James Version Too, Which Is My Favorite & Go To Version I Love Reading From The Bible. I Most Definitely Did Not Regret My Purchase! 👍

Previous Reviews Are Not This Bible
I got exactly what I ordered. This King James Bible is a paperback with hard covers. It’s light and the dimensions are accurate as described.I am confused by the reviews, as they aren’t about this Bible. They are about the 1611 King James, which is much larger than this one.I bought this Bible to contain all my notes on Biblical numerology and I have no problem writing and highlighting on its pages. I used mini tabs to index its books. If you’re looking for a legible compact travel Bible, consider this one.

Better than expected
This bible is much larger than I expected. It's pages are not flimsy but not too thick. The print is easy to read and all the verses start on their own line, so no searching through paragraphs looking for a verse. And it has the earlier translation, so certain verses that were deleted in the newer versions remain in this bible. Paperback binding, so it's flexible. It measures about 8x10. It's really quite nice, and I would highly recommend it.

Hypocritical power
Once you delve into the history of the KJV, then you know why it's called his version. King James was married with homosexual lovers. He didn't write it, others researched and did all the work. So being king he slapped his name on the book.

Of historical interest, but not very practical
It would probably be somewhat presumptuous of me to review this book's content, so I'll confine my comments to the version and the edition.I confess that when I want to read the Bible for the primary purpose of understanding its meaning, I choose a modern translation. But I want a King James version in my library for the beauty of its language, and when I want to appreciate the Bible as an aesthetic object. Also, one of my hobbies is composing music, and I've always been interested in setting passages from the Bible to music, but I would definitely want to use the King James text. This edition interested me because it advertised itself as an exact replica of the 1611 edition. Well, that it is, complete with 1611 spellings and 1611 typeface. Alas, it turns out not to be rather difficult to read, because the typeface is so small and so stylized.Don't get me wrong. I'm not sorry I bought it, but I did need to buy another edition as well.
