Great skate!
Amazing skate. Getting back into skating and these are perfect.Fits to shoe size like others have said. I picked my best fitting shoe (Nike) and ordered that size, fits like a glove.Very smooth and quick. Comes with a brake if you are so inclined to use it.Great dealing with skis.com as the third party seller. Would recommend.

Comfy! But not designed for certain skating styles...
I bought these for my 11 year old who grew out of his Rollerblade twister 80's, so he's used to a hard shelled boot. He wanted to try these because they looked more comfortable and like a nice hybrid of a hard boot and soft boot combined. Although they were very comfortable, they didn't work for his skating style because the inside clasp for the top buckles would hit together while skating which would unlatch the buckle while he skated, taking away the ankle support needed to skate. We tried several times and each time his buckle would come undone, so we had to return them. He likes to skate and do tricks with his skates close together so it didn't work for him, but I think if you are a regular fitness skater you might not have the same issue. Great skate otherwise! We loved the look! We ended up with a Seba, which is more appropriate for his skating style.

Awesome skates. Been skating (inlines) for nearly 20 years
Awesome skates. Been skating (inlines) for nearly 20 years. Searched everywhere for this "type" of skate. I would call it an aggressive / stunt skate that will also serve as decent skates for skating. Most aggressive skates have small wheels that are hard and annoyingly slow. I also love the maneuverability of hockey skates but hate the fit and lack of ankle support. These skates are the perfect marriage of sturdy stunt skate that has plenty of speed and agility. K2 makes great skates and these are no exception. Fit is right on with shoe size. Only wish frame allowed you to rocker the wheels. GREAT SKATES!!!

these are amazing. I've mostly skated in a hockey style boot
I originally ordered these skates from Amazon, but my order was canceled due to a warehouse screw-up. I would have taken a star off for that but I figured I would write the review based only on the skate itself since I did use other customer reviews to make a decision about this product.I've only had the chance to skate in these a few times since I've gotten them, but I consider myself a veteran skater (20+yrs) so I think a quick evaluation will suffice and I will update later as I break them in.So far, these are amazing. I've mostly skated in a hockey style boot, either ice or roller, and the comfort level of these is awesome. I have had other pairs of inline skates which were not hockey style and these are still much more comfortable. As soon as I put my foot in, I knew these were going to be great. They fit like a sneaker, which was a weird feeling at first, but definitely a plus. I wasn't sure about using the cuff at first bc I like tightness low in the boot, but the cuff really keeps your heel planted in the back of the skate giving you more control. It's just a matter of proper adjustment to achieve the proper looseness versus tightness for the skate. My only complaint about the cuff is that I would put the adjuster on the outside of the boot, not the inside. In tight space, I managed to pop the cuff open once or twice. I think this is more my skating style as hockey style boots do not have a cuff. The frame is very secure to the base of the boot. I was curious to how this was going to feel being a soft boot. You really can't tell. If you have everything tightened to your liking, it feels like an extension of your leg. The lacing eyelet placement is much better than lower cost rollerblades. You can actually tighten the boot with the laces without feeling like you are about to break something. When they say these are true-fit, they are just that. I went to a local shoe store and used a Brannock measuring device for my foot. They are free to use, any store that sells shoes will have one available. If you are ordering these online, I can't recommend this step highly enough. If you like your skates a little tighter, at least this will give you a place to start. I was very concerned about what size to get because the area I live in, there are only so many skate one can try on. These skates were spot on. That being said, a friend on mine who wears a size 13, just bought the k2 fatty pro and the largest size he could buy was a 12. He still says they fit great, so if you can, try some on in a store first. I consider myself lucky that it all worked out.Prior to these skates, I was using a very well greased set of ABEC 7 bearings. Straight out of the box, these skates are fast! I was able to glide uphill with each stride which I was very impressed with. Downhill was great as expected. The shorter frame base gives much tighter turns as expected for an urban style skate. The wheels so far look a little dusty from skating on pavement, but didn't see any immediate tearing as people tend to describe on OEM wheels for skates. I put them straight to hard use and so far they look like they will take some mileage. I will have to update that aspect more as time allows.I really liked the overall style of the skate, the color scheme is cool and I like how it breaks up the mono-tone color monotony of some other skates out there. The rear-loops are really nice and sturdy for pull skates on or carrying them. The set-up comes with a break you can put on, but if you've owned inline skates for a while that pretty much is an after thought. I will just keep mine around if I ever decided to resell them. The frames can also be replace on this boot for aggressive style skating. I may buy a set later on once I get the funds so I will update to how well the frames interchange. So far I'm very happy with these and would recommend them to anyone looking for an all around skate. For people looking at the cheaper skates, do yourself a favor, don't. Wait a little longer, save your money and buy something a little higher quality. Your feet will thank you and you will enjoy and use them a lot more. If you want a conversation piece for your closet, then go ahead and get the $100 or less model skates out there. In-line skates are one of those items that a little bit more money gets a whole lot better skate. If your just starting out, see if you can buy some second hand til you get better on your feet. You will then be able to better assess what you like and don't like.

Super
