Rumble Tuff Contour Changing Pad, White, Compact

I rarely write reviews but finding a small enough changing pad for our changing table was a nightmare. I bought and sent back several changing pads on both Amazon and in person and I was at my wits end. We had the Ikea bookshelf/changer which we purchased not knowing that it was an odd size. The changing table length is approximately 28.75" and this was the best fit we found for it. Ikea does sell a matching changing pad but it's inflatable and kind of scary - just not something that I would want to put my child into!This changing pad has a hard bottom to it, which I wasn't expecting and I had to cut a seam in the side and cut the hard part out. This was quite annoying but necessary in my situation.The amount of fluff seems a little excessive but it's better than too little fluff. Still, I feel as if the size for the baby which is a lowered rectangle inside the pad is too small for a child older than a few months so I'm not sure what they were going for.Overall it served it's purpose but I would have liked it without the strange hard bottom and with more room for baby, not just a little rectangle in the middle of it.

Pros: IT fits in the changing table we purchased from IKEA, and is way better than the inflatable ones that they sell there in the store. IT is soft without being too squishy.Cons: After using it for two and a half years, the plastic is falling apart, and the little quilted pattern leads to a lot of exposed cotton thread, which has gotten pretty gross over the years. Part of the problem is due to my husband preferring to use this with no blanket of cover on it. He is not so great at a mess-free diaper change, so rather than risk a "minky soft changing pad cover" or a blanket getting dirty, he takes them all off and changes her directly on the plastic, so he can wipe off any mess. But the mess doesn't wipe off those cotton threads...

Fits perfect for the IKEA changing table I bought. Baby still on the way, so have not had the chance to use it yet, but provides just the right amount of padding and allows for standard size covers to fit over the top while fitting snug into place on the changing table. My two other expecting friends are ordering the same pad for their changing tables as well. Thank you.

We moved into an apartment with built in shelves and were hoping to use the bottom one as a changing pad station. This pad fits perfectly. I'm a little worried that as my son gets bigger, he may outgrow this, and he's only 7 weeks! The contour makes it a bit snug so I think he may grow out of it sooner than a standard one, but it works for now.

Just a little too big for my changing table size so I had to squeeze it in there but my husband and I both prefer this changing pad to the one that comes with our play pen as the quality and material is better.

I ordered this pad after hours of searching for one small enough to fit my changing table. I am extremely happy with the quality and the design. I love the depth of the pad and the seems are well constructed. I will forewarn anyone looking to purchase this particular model is its big and bulky. There is nothing sleek or aerodynamic about it which didn't bother me or deter me at all. I would purchase again.

I only bought this cause I needed a smaller than standard size changing pad, there aren't many out there it seems. It works. I like the deep indent. But the lining did develop a few small (1-3 inches) tears in it. It hasn't caused much of a problem really, but it only took a few month before the tears happened. Not sure from what.

I have a small dresser that I'm using as a changing station and this changing pad fit on top very nicely. The "standard" sizes were way too big but this is perfect. That being said once baby gets longer and more mobile I'll probably not use it as much because of the size. But fits my needs very nicely for now.
