PureGear PureTek Roll-On Screen Protector Kit for iPhone 4 & 4S

I tried several different brands of screen protectors for my iPhone 4s, and they all curled up at the ends where they couldn't seem to slide under my case. And most of the time, I had to reposition the other brands so many times that dust inevitably got under it, causing an annoying smattering of bubbles that wouldn't smooth out. Then I asked my brother, the iPhone expert, and he immediately suggested this product. You place your phone in the holder, roll on the film, and presto! Perfect fit, perfect alignment, and NO curled up edges! Another thing I noticed was that this film feels thicker than the others I've tried, but still provides flawless touch screen performance. I docked them one star because I haven't seen any refills for it, so you just throw away the tray and roller after you're done. Seems like a lot of waste, it would be nice if they could sell some sort of refill kit.Bottom line: I'll never buy any other kind of screen protector. This is the best of the best.

My friend recommended this as one of the easiest screen protectors to apply out there. I was very nervous in applying it all by myself and I looked up over three youtube videos on instructions for application. I followed the instructions exactly as stated and specifically didn't mess around with the tray; however, I still somehow managed to mess up the alignment. About halfway down my iPhone 4s there is a shift of the screen protector and as a result is obviously uneven around the home button. I'm hoping the lines from the shield tab will disappear as they do look nasty as of now. I like the feel and look of the screen protector, but for twenty dollars I would have been better to have a professional apply it. At least then I wouldn't have myself to blame.

I had seen the product at CES and needed to add a protector to my wife's phone. I decided to by the kit and bought additional refill units. The original package process was simple but it did go on a little off center. I had to realign but worked out as needed. However the single use packets did not fit the kit base. The alignment holes and plastic tabs did not matchup to each other. It appears that the personal kit system doesn't take the refill items. Very sad!

I've purchased and used two of these now. My first one installed in textbook fashion, lasted a really long time, and gave me zero problems.My second one, however, is a totally opposite experience. Despite careful following of the instructions, it rolled on crooked, and the top half-inch of it got smushed up like an accordion. Also, there's a spot where, in the package, a small tab of plastic with printed instructions rested on the screen protector. I can still see a faint outline of those words on it.My second experience was a total waste of money.

It took me longer to open the packaging then to apply the screen protector. The only tiny flaw is that it doesn't completely align with the Home Button. But it's not a big deal, it protects my phone and I have not noticed any scratches since I put it on (a week ago). I recommend this product to friends and fam. Very happy with my purchase!

The screen protector was completely off centered. I was expecting a lot from PureGear, but I felt like they failed to deliver with this product. Although I give them A LOT of credit with the idea. But I wish I could've saved the $17-18 and buy a cheaper screen protector.

This product was very easy to use; a cleaning cloth was provided. The Apple store couldn't have done a better job than I did myself and the screen protector appears very durable-not a scratch since I applied it. I also saved a lot using my credit card points.

This was hard to put on. It didn't work at all. I had to put it on myself. It was stretchy and difficult. Once I got it on good enough it lasted months

I have used other models of this product and was very pleased. It seems the older model for the iphone 4s has a different roller and caused problems with a smooth application.

dont waste ur money. absolute junk, doesnt adhere, bubbles and does not apply as easy as they advertise. wish i never bought it
