I opened the package to put in cookies. The nuts are very stale. There was not of the sweetness macadamia nuts usually have. They have an off taste heading towards rancid. There was no expiration date on the package. I would like my money back or a replacement with fresh nuts.The company sent me a new bag of macadamia nuts (two bags actually) and they were fresh and tasty. Hamakua did the right thing and I would definitely order from them again.

I love this brand - reasonably priced. Good sized nuts. And tasty. The chili peppah is a little disappointing because it's not really spicy or flavorful but - that is my personal opinion. I love all the other flavors - step out and try something you wouldn't ordinarily. This is a good brand to try with.

Very Tasty - It was June, and mine were delivered to the mailbox. By the time I got them out, they were warm, and the candy coating was melty. They were very good, but sticky. The next bag was one big clump when we opened it, since the candy on it had also melted, but now it's not sticky.

Has maltodextrin in seasoning. Very bad form

Likes: The price! Dislikes: When first opened and after the first few bites...tasted like lightly salted cardboard! The texture was ok. The taste was just "ok" but again, a big hint of cardboard! Don't know if that's because they came on a hot day (99 degrees F outside) and they "cooked" on my porch, or if that's just their taste? What I did was spill all the nuts onto a paper towel-lined cookie sheet, sprinkled garlic powder on them, then placed paper towels over the spread nuts. Left them that way for a couple of days. The paper towel seemed to absorb a small amount of oil from the nuts. Put them in a glass jar. With the garlic powder, the nuts have a pretty good garlicky taste...hiding the cardboard taste!

Great size bag for the money & by far better than the big name brands of macadamia nuts on the market. I like my nuts salted & these are but the good news is they're not overly salted! I'm sure you've all had nuts that bring the salt hard & can lead to crazy thirst &/or burnt lips! These are a great salty snack. They're healthy, they're yummy, ALWAYS fresh, good quantity & great flavor. These are delicious & these have been my my to now for almost a year. I plan on continue to buy only these for my macadamia cravings & the price for what you get is just a much as what you'd pay for a little jar of too salted nuts that don't taste half as fresh. They also come in a resealable pouch & you can't ask for better. HONESTLY if you're not buying these you're missing out!
