I've had my Blueair 200 series for a few years. I take in house clean air pretty seriously. I had a feeling this product was a bad knock off. Truth be told the material appears to be higher quality. I'm a week in on the purchase and believe the product to be a good investment. So far I won't be going back to the 2.5x more expensive OEM filters. Blueair, love your products but it's about time capitalism created some competition for ya. You have airline prices on your filters!!!

The material covers all of the filter opening, mine was sliding down but I just tucked the carbon pre filter under the little tab at the bottom of the white filter. That holds it in place nicely. This is a pre-filter (before the main filter) unlike the BlueAir brand filters that have the carbon filter built in which are post or after the main filter (closer to the fan) I'm not sure if the location of the carbon filter will make a big difference or not to how effective it is.

Alaska had a very severe fire season this year! The air quality in our area was very poor. When winter came, and the fires were pretty much out, I changed out the old Blueair 200/300 air filter with a new one. The old filter was filthy! That told me the filter was working properly.

Little to no benefit .

Be warned! This may be a workable filter for something. However, this flimsy and thin product is not a suitable replacement for Blue Air and its 2" thick filters. The pictures are deceptive. Upon removing the old filter, it would have been necessary to tape it into place. It's going back.

I got these for my Blueair Classic 203 Air Purifier and they fit perfectly. Just open the access door, lay it on top of the factory HEPA filter, close the door, and done! Air from my unit was already quite good, but this made it even better. Cooking smells bleeding over from nearby kitchen are significantly reduced by the activated carbon. The filters arrived in a resealable plastic bag.

When installed in a BlueAir 203 mine did leave about a ½cm gap at the top, which I filled with some rolled up paper towels.Plus for some odd reason the pull tab to more easily remove it is on the inside rather than the outside. Odd.But if the pixelated stock photo box woman doesn’t win your heart, the price will.

Almost identical to the manufacturer version, and also has the foam perimeter barrier along the edges to ensure a snug and airtight fit. I am including photo of the new filter (left) next to the replaced filter (right) after just 6 months use; for comparison.
