Wouldn’t be without them on a trip!
Bought these for a trip to Scotland on the motorbike in Scotland 2016.I don’t have waterproof boots and thought these might be a cheaper way of solving that problem!Well, it rained every day of the 6 I was up there and not one of those days were my feet wet. The boots were soaked through, but there soaks did their job! They dried out quickly overnight too and never seemed to get smelly at all!A great purchase!!

Life changing - buy these socks!!!
I was pessimistic about spending this much on a pair of socks however having now been using them on several rides they are life changing!Ive been on long 100 mile plus rides and these amaze me by staying dry both on the outside and importantly the inside too - no sweaty hot feet!!!Also really come into their own on cold and wet rides, they do what they say on the tin and have realy been the difference between tough rides and frankly miserable rides.Buy these socks!!!!

Boots saturated, feet dry.
After buying these, I used them twice on the golf course in wet conditions, and twice on 18km hill walks in very wet conditions. My shoes and boots were saturated but my feet were dry and warm. They are comfortable to wear for a prolonged period and I can highly recommend them. The washing instructions are printed on the inside of the sock, quite a clever idea. As for the price, you get what you pay for.

100% WATERPROOF!!! - REALLY????
O.K. - I have just had the experience of getting my feet soaking wet with "100% WATERPROOF SEALSKINZ SOCKS" - and I ask the question, is it because, when walking outdoors in shorts, as I was and then being caught in a torrential downpour, that water seeps into the socks through the top band???? - surely, that should be 'WATERPROOF' as well???

Waterproof
I have two working dogs so I'm out walking everyday, thus I soon wear out a pair of boots. Usually the first thing to go is the Gortex membrane causing them to leak. I though I would try a waterproof sock instead of a new pair of boots. Yes they are waterproof. You still get a bit of a wet feeling as the cold water seeps into the boot but your feet stay dry. I've also use them in warm weather and my feet did not sweat up. Just got to see how long the socks last. However replacing a pair of socks is still a lot less expensive than a new pair of boots.

Keeps your feet really warm. If water enters your boots from the top then the socks are not waterproof. Been in heavy rain with lots of surface water and socks kept my feet dry while my boots where soaking on the inside. Just don't let the water enter your boots from the top.

Work pretty well
Bought these for mountain biking in winter conditions. First impressions were they're very thick and rubbery feeling. If your shoes are already tight in normal socks they won't fit with these thick bois on. First 2-3 hours my feet stayed completely dry and I was smug as a bug. As the day progressed my feet did finally get wet but stayed pretty warm because it was mostly the same water in there. These socks don't really breathe that well - but they're very good at keeping your feet warm and dry. I've since purchased more water resistant shoes and the combo of those and these socks is very good for warm/dry feet.

Feet stay dry!
With all the flooding we have had my Sealskins have proved their worth over the last few weeks as I have found myself unable to avoid cycling through deep and very cold puddles.Sealskins need to be kept away from radiators so they can take a while to dry out and its too soon to say how long they will last, but so far I am delighted with my purchase.
