This keyboard is fantastic
I don't use this for gaming. Overall the material is very sturdy and rigid. the finish is very nice and has a nice feel when you touch it. The keys make a satisfying click when you press them and the rgb on the keyboard has a ton of variety which is a cool bonus. Overall this keyboard is fantastic and i recommend it if you want a sleek keyboard that feels amazing and is a pleasure to type on.

Tried to give the benefit of the doubt
I purchased the Keychron K1 104 keys V3 with red switches.I researched for maybe a few weeks or so to find a new full size keyboard that is wireless, backlit, mechanical, and can connect to multiple devices so I can use it with my work laptop (Windows), MacBook Pro, and iPad Pro. I came across this and it's perfect! I read about the issues with Keychron but decided to give it a shot. I've had the Logitech K780 for the past year and it's been great! No connectivity issues, no lagging, nothing, but it's not a full 104-key keyboard. This keyboard was exactly what I wanted......when it worked, and it did more than half of the time I owned it, but I just can't get past the times it didn't work. Regardless whether I was in bluetooth or cable mode, MacOS or Windows, this keyboard would just lag terribly at times and either wouldn't register presses, or it would register one press and lag out so bad that it'd repeat the keystroke like "thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis". And at times, it would crash my bluetooth on my MacBook Pro and everything would get disconnected. I also use a bluetooth mouse (logitech) but this never happened over the past year with my wireless logitech keyboard. And now, it just doesn't work at all! I'm not sure whether this is a defective unit or what, but I'm returning it. Not happy. Going back to the logitech for now.

Awesome keyboard.... not so great Bluetooth...
Very good keyboard, very stylish, great rgb and great sounding switches. My only complaint is the Bluetooth has a heavy latency even when typing and it disconnects frequently to where I have to re-pair it to my Mac, Pc or iPad Pro nearly every time I have to type, making it only usable to me when wired which defeated the purpose of buying a Bluetooth keyboard. Please fix the Bluetooth issues!

Fantastic Build Quality and function, with a few drawbacks.
Excellent presentation. Materials are fantastic. Functions perfectly. Couple drawbacks though:I don't feel key actuation. Maybe it's just the type of switch, and I should have gone with blue, but overall don't feel too much actuation or travel. (But that's why it's slim right?)There's no back feet, so the keyboard only has it's built angle on it. I would have loved to see some extra feet or adjustability included. They key caps themselves feel slippery. There's no curvature to the keys, so they're just flat. Again, this is probably just the case with this slim design, but I was expecting a little bit of a curve on the keys. The good:The lighting is amazing with the RGB. Personally the best I've seen.I love the build quality. It's built amazing, and I really have no concern about how long it may last.I love the included swappable keys and switches to switch between windows and Mac. I use Remote Desktop on my Mac and am constantly switching between Mac and Windows.Overall - I should have gone with the blue switches personally. I would have appreciated that feedback. But alas here we are. I like the keyboard, wish it had a little more ergonomics, but I have no regrets purchasing the keyboard. If you're looking for a low profile keyboard, this one will do the job.

There are better keyboards for typing
I bought this Keychron and the Havit KB395L to compare. For me, the Havit stays and this goes back.Ten people would have twelve keyboard opinions, so here's mine: I wanted a low-profile board for typing to replace a scissor-switch laptop-style keyboard I loved, but which is no longer produced. I was looking for crisp break, smooth travel, short to moderate-depth keystroke, low to moderate noise, and low actuation force. I tried everything in Best Buy in search of that unicorn before experimenting with these two.To me, the keyboards on older Dell Precision and Lenovo Thinkpad laptops are excellent, but they don't seem to exist in a full-size desktop layout. I find modern chiclet keyboards a little too stiff to actuate relative to their travel which makes bottoming harsh, and the lack of beveling on the keys makes them slightly harder to place. But too much beveling (old-school IBM-style) interferes with gliding between keys. Some good things about the Keychron:* Build quality seems excellent. Quite heavy aluminum base and top. Feels first-tier, less plastic and no flex in the middle like the Havit.* Proper USB-C cable relative to the Havit's micro-USB.* Looks great.* It's wireless. Didn't have it long enough to test reliability .* The RGB lights work. I don't care. Some bad things:* The keys have no beveling of any kind. I make more errors on this keyboard than the Havit.* The keys are less stable than the Havit. Push off-center and they angle a bit that way, which is more obvious because they're so flat and large.* The spacebar is about 1mm lower than every other key.* The switches are as loud as any blue switch I've heard, probably about 50% more than the Havit.* The sound is pitched quite high, much higher than the Havit.* Relative to Logitech's G915 blue switch (best in class to me), actuation pressure is higher and the spring stroke is mushier. Below par for a blue switch. The Havit is lighter, smoother, and nearly on par with the G915.* The key switches don't actuate at the click point. You have to bottom them slightly further down. The Havit is the same, though I don't notice because the keys take less force to bottom. If you're a light typer, you may miss some strokes on the Keychron.* My fingers constantly rub neighboring keys as I type.* The RGB lights are mostly surrounding each key, not actually going through it. I still don't care.In short, I'm not sold on it, mostly because of the noise, the switch feel, and the key shape. The price seems about right; the build really is lovely. And a more precise typist would probably get along with it better. But using it for this review, I'm fixing things every sentence. Not for me.
