Works. Resist the urge to use more than one tablet
I bought these dye tablets because I thought I had a very slow leak in one of the toilet flappers. I was in bed and I thought I heard the toilet flushing on its own early one morning. I dropped one tablet in the tank and waited over a half hour. Fortunately, no leak. Resist the urge to put more than one tablet in the tank. The blue color is very noticeable. And it will take a couple of flushes to get all the blue water out of the tank.

Does what it's supposed to do
Packets (and the pellets themselves) smell like anus and shame, however their purpose for detecting leaks is 100% accurate. I don't need 20 of them... but they don't expire so I can give'm to neighbors or siblings if they think a toilet may be leaking.

Easy
I test about every 4 months & I use one tablet in each toilet. Very convenient.

Helpful product to keep on hand
After noticing a rise in water usage on my bill, I got these tabs to see if any of my toilets were leaking and sure enough, 2 of 3 were. The leaks were so small that there was no noticeable noise that would have alerted me but over time, it will reveal itself in the form of higher water bill. The fix was rather easy. Put the dye tab in the tank and wait 15-20 minutes. If there's dye in the bowl, then the leak is from the rubber flap. Replace that and use the tabs again to confirm no more leakage and you're done.

Only use one tablet
These work great, but two tablets are in each packet. Used both fist time and after finding a leak and replaced the flapper. Flushing out the dye took many flushes. I would have left it alone and let nature flush it out, but wife worried dye would stain toilet.
