I've had no adverse scalp reaction and my hair likes it. I use it as the first shampoo in the shower to make a dent in the styling products I use. It has a very good lather and cleans well w/out being harsh. I have fine, highlighted hair. I hope it's still available when I run out.

I love this shampoo and hope to find a matching conditioner. Its super light and has many benefits. My scalp already doesn't feel itchy from my mild dandruff. The hinoki scent isnt strong but it is a nice refreshing clean scent. A bit pricey but highly recommend if you can afford it. I prefer it over Le Labo's shampoo which feels heavy (still a nice option if you want that hinoki scent).

Feel gentle and non-drying. I don’t know about the hair growth aspect, as I bought this for the soothing effect that it advertised. I haven’t noticed additional hair growth?? But very lightly scented, which is nice.

This shampoo gives my hair much more fullness by the end of the day. I bought it because of the supposed health benefits of the Hinoki Cypress Essential Oils for overall immune system benefits, but it's much easier on the hair than most shampoos.

Good, gentle cleaning shampoo...doesn’t smell at all like Hinoki is my only complaint.

There are lots of factors that contribute to hair loss, so it makes sense to address as many of them as you can, with the highest quality materials possible. I have always found it beneficial to my hair to rotate products so that I experience a maximum array of benefits with less build up. My curls are very happy and healthy, but my age has dictated hair loss that I would like to minimize as much as possible.I have found this formula to be a very promising addition to my current rotation. It penetrates to my scalp very quickly and I can feel it emulsify the oils and product in my hair and on my scalp. It's very gentle and releases even the build up of three days of product (including dry shampoo) without leaving my hair feeling stripped or chemically bombarded. It rinses away cleanly without trauma or frizz. I follow up with a great conditioner with complementary or alternative benefits, depending on what my hair needs. Sometimes all I need is a little oil scrunched in. It has a great gender nonspecific botanical fragrance that's not what I'd describe as floral. It's nice.
