Just what I wanted
I got tired of sharing a diaper bag with my toddler, or even more frustrating, carrying a diaper bag and purse together. She doesn't need a lot of accessories anymore, just enough that I can't stick them in my regular purses. I found this purse and thought what a great size it was for what I needed. I was right! It's just what I wanted. It's very stylish and fun. It has a nice texture on the faux leather. There are snaps that allow the purse to be easily reshaped into two different styles. I don't find I use the zipper closure much; the snap closure is enough for me. I should mention the zipper does not seal the bag. There's still open space where you can stick something in on one side or the other. But the snaps hold up fine so I don't need it.It's plenty big enough for my wallet and other items, plus a few diapers, wipes, and a couple of toys. I've been known to toss in a sippy cup and snack for a trip to the park. Since I have the space, I take my camera and planner when I go out. I even stuck an summer outfit and toiletries in it along with my regular stuff instead of packing a separate bag when I went to my sister's house. With all the room it has, it still doesn't look or feel like luggage.Let me emphasize though, it is a large bag. If you are looking for a small or medium sized purse, check out some other items. You could potentially place your more essential items in a small clutch and toss it with everything else into this bag for handy access. But if you want a bag for stuffing things into, or you are a mom like me with a few kid-items to carry with you, this is perfect. Plus, it doesn't look frumpy.

Cool looking, but rubbery/plastic feel
The bag looks cool and is about the size I expected. It looks matte from afar, but is shiny up close and looks like plastic a little. The color is strange - the giraffe print is both brown and black, mottled throughout; but I kinda like that so I can use it with both black and brown outfits. The inside lining is a really thin, gauzy, crappy material. But, it has 2 small zippered sections, 2 cell/compact pockets, & 1 open pocket. The top zipper doesn't go all the way down the bag, but just the center 75%. I thought that was odd. I've never seen another purse zipper like that. Anyway, since I plan on putting my toy dog inside, I don't mind that the ends stay open; but for you ladies who like security or who toss your bag around, this could be problematic. The handles are detachable via clasps on the metal rings, so you could change them out if you wanted.

Cool bag - needs one mod.
I waffled for several months about purchasing this bag based on other reviews, and finally decided to go ahead and do it, buying one for myself and one for a gift. It's large, it's cute, and it is handling a large load (binders, laptops, books) without any apparent strain. I constantly get comments on it, and am happy to refer people here to place an order. It's a little too big to be a purse, but just the right size for carrying books and lunch and laptop to work and back, and I imagine would be an excellent pool bag in the summer. The drop length is long enough to put on my shoulder with one hand (instead of threading my arm through) except when I'm wearing a coat, when I have to thread my arm through. The bag has a number of ways that it can be adjusted and closed, including snaps at the ends of each handle that fold the top corners in, as you see in the photos, and an interior tab/snap arrangement that holds the ends in by snapping across the top. There's also a zipper that attached by strips that are about 4" long, but extends to the end of the bag. The only modification I'd suggest to this bag, which I made myself with a pair of scissors, is to snip off the zipper, which I only found to get in the way.Glad I finally went ahead and bought it.

Nice big bag with style
I got this as an Anti Diaper bag, and it has worked well. It is spacious and pretty durable. I have found that over time (I've had it for three years now) the pattern has worn off in places on the bottom of the bag. I do like that it is wipeable on the outside. The clasps and snaps are a little clunky. The snaps you can use to make the top opening smaller didn't stay snapped for me. This isn't really a problem utilization-wise, but in terms of aethetics, I like the way it looks better when it's snapped, and it just doesn't stay that way.It holds its shape well, so as long as it isn't overfilled, there isn't a great risk of it falling over and dumping all your stuff. It's the kind of bag you keep adding to without really realizing it and then one day you find out there are sixteen pens in the bottom.I got this on kid #3, now on kid #5 I use it less as a diaper bag simply because I actually travel lighter now - a smaller canvas tote usually does the job. This still works great as a church bag when I need to carry a lot of different things for different people, and it is a fun bag that I still like the look of.

Purchased for myself
I purchased this for myself. after i received it and realized it was such a nice bag. i've gotten so many positive comments about it. and told how expensive it looks. I havn'et told anyone what i actually paid for it. A co worker has one that looks very much like this and she told me she paid $95 for hers and was surprised that I had one like hers. haha. I just chuckled to myself. what she don't know won't hurt me . i'm very pleased with this purse i'm ordered two more to send to my sister and her daughter that live in Washington ST. the quality of the purse is very good. the handles are securley connected with strong metal clasps and hooks that add to the flair of the purse. I recommend it to anyone who wants a big purse that hold lots of stuff. i really love this purse. thanks for such a nice purse. oh by the way i got the red girraff one but ordered the brown one for my sister and the red one for my neice . my 14 year old granddaughter want one too with a peace sign on it.. go figure. thanks again
