Lamello 166013 Duplex Hinge 20 (Nickel) Box of 20 (10-left/10-right)

Hinges look great and are of high quality, but the package was damaged and 1 of the 20 hinges was lost. I should have returned it, but did not.

The quality of these hinges is great, but we were not aware that our American tools would not cut the right size hole. The result is that the hinges don't fit perfectly, making them slightly off kilter which results in a door that doesn't swing smoothly.If you buy them, here's a tip: you need to use one from either side of the box so that they don't come apart. It took us a while to figure that out, because using two from the same side, they slide apart in the same direction, and there is nothing to hold them together--the door would be removable, which is not what you want. The hinges on either side of the box are mirror image, so using one from either side corrects that problem.

These make putting hinges on so much easier. I use two hinges to hold 1' x 2' x 3/4" lids to boxes and they hold the lid securely. The tolerances aren't especially tight and I'm not sure how well the would hold up on something that was opened many times a day but I've never had an issue. My only gripe is the screws provided with mine were square drive. But I'll definitely buy more of these hinges.

These hinges are very attractive and were easy to install. I recommend them to give your project a classic look.
