Q: So i can transfer 8mm casettes to my computer and burn video to dvd or cd using a program i purchased, its video 2 pc. my camcorder isn't working,

If your computer has a Firewire, or DV IN port, you should be able to import your 8mm video into your computer, as long as your software supports the hardware. After you import your video, you would be able to edit it, and then burn DVDs from it. I use my GV-D200 to plug directly into a dvd recorder, and capture the 8mm tapes digitally to either the hard drive, or directly to dvd, using the "DV In" port. Hope that helps.

Q: Are tthe Hi-8 and 8mm analog formats digitized and output on the Firewire? or are they output on the S-video? or just the Composite output?

There is a Composite out / S-Video and Digital output, that is in the specifications you can look up.It has firewire output / control for computer importing or S-video to what ever T.V or VCR device.

Q: Will this plan an 8mm fujifilm p6-120 tape?

Yes, this unit will play 8mm fujifilm p6-120 tape that has been recorded in the "NTSC" format.
