Vionic Women's Splendid Dakota Slip-on Mule - Ladies Backless Sneakers with Concealed Orthotic Arch Support

I was looking for a very comfortable pair of casual mules to wear while working from home. This is my first pair of Vionic shoes. They run true to size, and the footbed is great -- moderate to high arch support and comfortable fabric that is soft and breathable. The style is beautiful. Color is very pale beige, and the snake pattern is created in a very subtle gold sheen. They're a great neutral look, and the price was exceptional for this brand. These shoes were very stiff out of the box. It took a couple of full days of wear to break them in. Now they're quite comfortable, but also a bit heavy. If you don't mind that, they're great shoes.

Super cute, mostly comfortable. I went down a half size because vionics usually run a little big on me. The length was fantastic but they are a little narrow compared to my other vionics. They rubbed a blister on the inside of my foot near the ball on my arch, and they were a bit narrow across the ball of my foot, that’s the only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars. I’m hoping they break in and loosen up, 🤞🏻

Crazy but the arch on these hit me further up on my foot, more towards the toe box, then normal! Since the toe box is shorter and more narrow possibly because if I scoot my foot up (with effort) more into the toe box area the arch fits fine.My advise: if you like a larger toe box area order a half size up so these will fit you as you would normally expect!I ordered a 10, my normal size and since they don't carry a 10.5 I'll be returning without an exchange! 11 is always too large so I'm not going to bother.LOVE the gold color! I thought the picture on these were wrong and I was expecting more of a gold color VERY PLEASED to see these matched the picture! Just a hint of gold tone which I love!

They are adorable. Loved the metallic leather finish & the ease of sliding on. They are comfortable & did not rub. Nice quality for the money.However, when I went for a long walk, the shoe felt stiff & inflexible with each step and the inside of the shoe felt a little loose so that I was gripping with my toes in an uncomfortable way. Did not cause any blisters.I'll save these for shopping & running errands & stick to my Fanture slip-ons for exercise walking.

The arch support, which was most important to me, is adequate, but the entire shoe is on the hard side. It needs to have a layer of cushioning. It's ok using in the house but I wouldn't be able to use it for walking outdoors. Adding my own insert helped a bit. The front flap of the shoe could be shorter as well for more comfort.

The media could not be loaded.  The shoesare beautiful, the support is moderate, my feet are slightly wide and they fit great, so for someone with narrow feet might be too lose, but will work for a normal width, they run true to size, I would say that if you are in between half then go up, they look very sharp and well made and the leather is soft, I’m a size 11 but did not make my feet look bigger, like with the midi. I’m not sure yet I’m keeping them since by trying them at home I felt it was hard to keep the feet inside. I’ll let you know later, but decently worth trying specially at this priceUPDATE, decided to return them, my feet kept slipping out of the shoes, is because there’s a very slippery fabric that covers the insert( comes glued) sad

Absolutely LOVE these shoes! I was a bit skeptical after reading some of the reviews, however I personally found them very comfortable. Because the reviews indicated they ran “large” I ordered an 8, versus my typical 8.5. It fits fine, however the 8.5 would have probably worked just as well as mules are somewhat forgiving. I do not have a wide foot. The width is fine for me, not too roomy or snug. If your foot is on the wider size I would stay true to size. If regular to narrow, I’d probably size down a half size as I did. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this purchase. (I only wish they came in WHITE as I’d be purchasing a second pair)

This product is very similar to a steve madden sneaker mule I had - perhaps even more attractive in shape. It said choose your true size, but there is a bit of a lip on the edge of the heel, and I wish I 'd gotten a half size larger.

Vionic are a company who produce quality footwear with the plus of having integral orthopaedic fittings. Needed some more shoes at a price I could afford.
