Ordered size 9-10Y for my 8 year old daughter. She is approx 60 lbs and 4 ft 2 in. The size 9-10 fits her exactly perfect. So I would say it actually probably runs a little small. She normally wears size 7-8 or size 8 pants and size 7-8 long sleeve tops. She has not worn swimming yet but loves the suit. She says it is very comfortable and we both love the color.

Love that this comes with long pants. No need to reapply sunscreen or worry about contaminating lakes and streams with chemicals. Fits perfectly and my daughter loves wearing it, she is 5-years old and the hat in the picture is a Sunday Afternoon kids hat that I also recommend.

Very cute. Bought the 5-6Y for my daughter who wears size 6 tops and size 5 shorts. Fits exactly as I would expect for a swim suit - not baggy at all, but not crazy tight either.I removed a star because of the wash instructions - there's no reason a washer on delicate shouldn't be able to wash this safely unless they really went cheap in making it. I guess time will tell because I'm putting this in my machine.

My daughter wears a 7/8 in girls and I ordered her the 9-10y which fit perfectly! The suit bottom is double layered in the front side which is really nice for more coverage!

Got a size 5/6 for my 3 year old daughter and it fit just right. She's very thin but tall for her age. She's about 36 inches tall. I got it for our Disneyland trip as the sun was goin to be very bright. It keeps her cool while protecting her from uv rays. I read reviews and bought a size or two bigger and it was the right choice.

Love this swimsuit. I would compare the 5-6 year to a 6x or so size. My daughter is just freshly into a 6/6x size and this fits just about as loosely as many of those clothes do. For us, it was perfect. She loves it and I love the sun projection for her as she is just about as pale as one can get. Now I only have to worry about putting sunscreen on her face, hands, and feet. Putting sunscreen on a barely 4 year old on a regular basis is a pain in of itself.

This bathing suit is perfect. My daughter is 4yo but 55lbs and 45” tall. She wears a girls size 6/7. I bought the 5/6 bathing suit and it fits her perfectly. The material feels heavy enough that it won’t wear easily but is light and comfortable on her. She has already worn it several times at the pool, lake, and spray pad and it has been washed a few times without issue.My daughter loves the colors and the feel of the swim suit. If she knows we will be going swimming later in the day, she will ask to put this on first thing in the morning and has no complaints wearing it all day.I love that it covers more than a traditional bathing suit (I bought the t-shirt and shorts) leaving less error for sunburn and less skin showing for my baby girl.Overall I highly recommend this bathing suit and would not hesitate to buy it again.

I bought this product hoping it will last at least for 6 months, the fabric isn't of good quality, my child is beginner swimmer with minimum usage, we used gentle hand rinse with room temperature water and drying it on a rack, after couple uses the fabric started sagging and i could see the residue on my child's arm, sleeve eventually gotten 3 times its length. Never experienced this before.
