Good Replacement
Fits well. Connections were not oem level but its a good replacement bulb. Time will tell on life span last bulb lasted 9 years.

Purchased from Costco, our TV was manufactured in 2007. The picture just started getting darker and darker this year. This is the FIRST lamp we've had to replace. I was able to slip this lamp in the back of the TV in minutes! So easy to do (and I'm a a middle-aged woman with a bum knee. So NO excuses, people!). I even found a 2.5 minute video on YouTube to show me how. I now have a beautiful, bright picture on my Samsung hls6767. So happy!

Defective - Destroyed My TV
This Lamp is a no brainer to install in my 67 inch Samsung DLP. After installation, the TV kept shutting off with an alert on the front display that said LAMP. I checked the Lamp and re-seated it. It shut off once then was OK for about 1 hour. Suddenly, there was a terrible smell and smoke coming from the TV. It shut off again. When I opened the back the connection between the Lamp and the TV was literally melted. Both connectors on the lamp and the TV are melted. I don't believe it is worth fixing the TV. But I was repairing it because I didn't want to spend the money on a new set since this one has served my family well. I assume there is no recourse for getting a replacement set due to clearly defective lamp.

DIY Replacement That Saves $
Bought this to replace a dead lamp in my parents' television. The repair shop was quoting $300 to start. Looked up video instructions on how to replace the bulb ourselves online. The process was very straight-forward, and it saved my parents from having to either pay for an expensive repair or buying a new television.

Works great and is easy to install
Works great and is easy to install. TV is like new again. Been going strong for about about month now and I haven't seen or smelled any of the issue others are having. I'll try to up date when it has been used a bit longer.

Lamp with housing arrived in great shape, the housing on the new lamp matched the original lamp housing perfectly, the bulb was original Phillips and the whole assembly slid in easily - the image on the screen is like new, the kids' can't believe it - it's like having a brand new tv.
