Carefix Mary Front Close Post-Op Bra #3343

After my mastectomy and DIEP reconstruction it seemed like I needed a new bra every 3-4 weeks. I started off with lighter surgical bras from AnaOno which are a dream compared to what you get in the hospital. When I needed to move to a compression bra to help with swelling I tried at least 5 before landing on these. I'm approximately a 38DDD/E, wear a size large top with some room in it and a 12/14 jean and the large fits perfectly. There's also good support and can be used as a light sports bra as well for yoga or weights as well as walking.When I started to wear it, I had it on the 1st row (loosest) of hooks, of which there are 8 so you're secure. It leaves slight fans looking imprints from the rouching in the front which I found annoying at first, but it's a good indicator of how swollen you are. I've now moved to the second set of hooks and am confident that each set of hooks will last a month so you don't have to worry about these wearing out in a couple weeks.They can be machine washed in warm water and dried on low but honestly they dry so fast if they've gone through the spin cycle in the wash. There are several "steps" where you can tighten and loosen the straps which can help with the compression, they will not slide off because of the racer back construction and can come apart in two pieces if you need them for that stage of recovery. There are internal pockets if you want forms or puffs inside.If you visit the Tytex website, you will get a wealth of information on how these babies are constructed with 4 different levels of compression in strategic places throughout the bra. I've never had it dig and has a thick band that barely, barely rolls on the back sides which is a huge win for me.NOTE! The white is made of the same material as the black and nude but does NOT fit the same. The white is thicker, harder and not comfortable at all.

I purchased this bra, first in the xxl beige and later in xl black. These were for use after my lumpectomy/reconstruction/lift surgery. I was a 38G before surgery and I believe I’m a 38D now that the swelling has gone down.I purchased the xxl beige right after my surgery. I had no idea on size but followed the measuring instructions, adding a size to accommodate swelling, as they recommend, and it fit perfectly and was very soft. As my swelling went down, the xxl became looser, so I purchased an xl in black, and it fit perfect as well. I can’t stress enough the importance of following their sizing chart and instructions, and not going by your regular bra size.I like the two rows of hooks and adjustable straps, and I love the softness of the fabric. I am very happy with this bra, including the construction and comfort and support, and highly recommend it. I can wear it to bed, around the house, and even to work. I hand washed in the beginning but now just machine wash/dry with no problems.Wishing all of you ladies the best as you work through your individual situations. I received this bra after a reduction surgery, literally woke up in the recovery room with a white one on. It was such a perfect fit that I wanted another to swap as needed. I purchased the black and in all honesty, I also purchased a few more in other brands hoping for a little cheaper option but none really compared to the fit, comfort and quality with these ones. I love it so much that I may just be wearing these forevermore ...something I never expected!

I could never find the right size for me I gave up after 2 returns. Wore it long enough to get home from hospital and switched to a much cheaper sports bra.

I ordered this bra because I was fitted with one after having a breast reduction. They are a little pricey but I will also be using it when I have a mastectomy in a few months. I think these are the most comfortable surgical bras. I tried a few others and had to return them. I did accidentally throw them in the dryer and didn’t have issues with fit after. I also liked that my incision could not stick to the fabric, as that can be very painful. I am pretty petite and have been wearing an XL. I’m 130 pounds and 5’1. My current cup size is a full C. Although I am 9 weeks post op, I still wear these to sleep.

The bra is amazingly comfortable. Adjusts perfectly to fit. Side adjustable loops for drains if needed. Perfect for post mastectomy. May want to order 1 size down as it runs a little big. On the other hand, if you are just post surgery and have swelling and bandages, the fit of this bra may be fine.

Bought this bra after my breast reduction surgery. Was trying to find a bra similar to what the hospital has given. This bra was the best and almost similar to the doctor recommended. Comfortable, snug and well supported.Loved it.

I purchased a few of these bras over a year ago when I had a breast reduction. I needed to wear a supportive bra 24/7 for a few weeks. These bras are so comfortable, you don't even realize you are wearing a bra. They do not "ride up" like some bras do. The material is smooth and soft and actually a joy to sleep in. (I never thought I would say wearing a bra to bed was comfortable.)I purchased two more of these bras a few months ago for my mom who had a lumpectomy. She agreed with my review above and was pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable a bra can be!

Bei diesem PH wird auch der Rücken entlastet.

Ich habe allerdings die elastische Umrandung der Armlõcher abgeschnitten da wegen der Entfernung der Achsellymphknoten alles geschwollen war - danach war es sehr bequem und trotzdem stützend - und nichts aufgeribbelt!

Nach einer Brustop war dieser BH meine erste Wahl. Er sitzt echt super.
