3 year old daughter love Minnie and was immediately drawn to this toy when we saw it at the local TRU. She played with it quite a bit in the store before we had to leave. I decided to get it here off Amazon and add it to her Christmas presents. She was happy to see it when she opened it for Christmas, but once we got it out and started playing with it, her interest faded quickly. I guess I (we) thought there would be more functions to it when removed from demonstration mode, but basically the one song (True Colors) and the one activity selecting the colors of there dress (top), dress (bottom), and bow are it. She will make different comments about the outfit you pick for her (example "You must like Pink, So do I" when you make her all pink). I think it would have been easy for them to incorporate some sort of game mode into the logic of the toy that would give it more repeat play-ability, maybe a sequence repeat like the old Simon game. Besides that its a cute toy of decent build quality. It will look nice on the shelf it is likely to sit at most times.

The worst of all?...
My daughter loves Minnie Mouse, so this was a great gift. She absolutely loves it and smiles and giggles whenever she plays with it. However, I do have one complaint...at the end of the song, Minnie sings, "and you're a work of art!," but it is not clear at all and sound like, "you're the worst of all!" So, the latter is how my daughter sings the song and it is so hard to break her of that! I don't think she "gets" what a work of art is, so it doesn't make sense to her. I think they could've either thought of something more applicable to toddlers or made the singing more clear.

Cute toy, works as advertised, didn't hold my 4 year old's attention for too long
Another item from our Minnie themed bday party this year. We gave this toy to our 4 year old and she was amazed and enthralled by it. It is such a cute toy although a little louder than I was anticipating. It arrived via Amazon and I hid the box away until the girls were in bed so I could show it to my husband before I wrapped it. SOMEBODY accidentally pressed the little heart button on Minnie's hand causing her to belt out "True Colors" at high volume at 9pm right outside our daughter's bedroom door. Luckily they have a sound machine. She loved the doll for a while but I think it got old fast. She mostly played with it when she was in the mood to sit still (not often) and keep changing Minnie's outfit color. Eventually the batteries wore out about 2 months later and she hasn't asked for them to be replaced. Really cute toy, does what it advertises but just didn't hold my daughter's attention like I thought it would.

it seemed like it did quite a bit more than it actually ...
We got this for our two year old for Christmas who recently discovered Minnie and Mickey Mouse; she loves it. Unfortunately, it seemed like it did quite a bit more than it actually does from watching the video. She will voice the the colors as the child changes them, and if you press the button in her hand again, she will sing a song. Occasionally she will also say one of her other phrases. That's really it. The batteries lasted about a month, but that's with our daughter taking her to bed as well.

My daughter likes her.
Lovely minnie toy, my toddler loves her.Minnie Changes colors when touched. Her dress, shirt and bow light up in any of the available color combinations when selected. She's sturdy and has been dropped a few times by my toddler. Her camera is also a plastic looking glass that refracts the light when held to the eye.Cons:- Minnie won't change colors of she is being held by one of her touch sensitive surfaces or is being pressed by two different fingers.- The heart on her hand has to be pressed to activate her touch sensitive surfaces, so she doesn't turn on automatically.

Although I wish it had a few more sayings or songs, this toy is really cute. I have a touch lamp that my 2 year old is obsessed with and this pretty much combined her love of that with her love of Minnie! I had a few issues at first where it wasn't responding to touch and just stayed the same color, but eventually it worked just fine. It's teaching her colors and she likes the song and even the little camera that comes with it. I'd buy it again.

Bought this for the Disney show
My niece loved this. We gave it to her to take to the disney show. It lights up and is so cute. I knew they would be selling light up toys at the Disney show and have fallen for buying those in the past with my own kids. They always break within a week or so or the kids lose interest. This works perfectly to satisfy the "light up Disney toy" and my niece loves the Minnie Mouse voice and it will teach her colors and seems so well made. Very colorful and animated gift for an almost 2 year old.

It's ok ...
This is a nice toy. Bought for 19 month old but had to put away for when she's 2 as she doesn't quite get the novelty value of changing her outfit colours. Only one song so a bit repetitive and easily falls over. Not much you can do with this toy so limited play value but if your child likes Minnie Mouse then that might not be an issue. This toy is ok but not fantastic
