IT'S 2.4G ONLY BABY!!
I RECENTLY GOT THE ECHO DOT (3rd gen) ECHO SHOW 5 & PHILIPS HUE smart bulbs. I LOVE IT! So i decided i needed a WIFI portable speaker that is ALEXA enabled. So i chose the DIDa! The one critical fact that isn't clearly stated is that its only compatible with 2.4G I have a 5G network. so the one thing u will need to add is a WIFI router that is both 2.4 & 5G friendly. found all this out after buying the device ( and banging my head on the wall) trying to get it to connect. The good news is tow fold. a good router is affordable $30, and you should have an additional router connected to your cable Modem anyway. it boosts your bandwidth and speed, and acts as a repeater for your WIFI signal, especially if you have a large home.

Great speaker for Amazon assistance details
I bought this thinking I could use it as a substitute for my echo. With a built-in speaker but it doesn't work that way after a short while with no input it shuts down so I can do things like set an alarm because if it's turned off the alarm doesn't go off after every time it shuts off I have to reconnect to the internet little bit of a hassle got great sound nice speaker but the hands-free assistant part sucks

good product support from Cowinaudio
The first product I purchased was faulty: it was not able to connect on Bluetooth to my cellphone nor to the internet through wifi. I contacted first Amazon. The said they let COWIN know about my problem. COWIN Support was very helpful. First they requested me to send a video of trying to connect the product to my cellphone or to the internet. So I did it. COWIN support analysed it, and decided to send a new COWIN DiDa free of charge. I received it recently. This speaker works well, I can connect it to my cellphone and to the internet. The speaker has quite good voice quality. So finally I have a positive experience with COWIN as a company and also with the product.

Solid speaker. Great features.
The product is great. It's really nice to be able to have a wifi enabled speaker with Alexa so I can take it anywhere in the house and it doesn't need to be near my phone. Secondly the sound quality is banging. I played everything from classic rock to modern rap and it never let me down. Solid speaker for a great price. Definitely would recommend

The easiest setup I’ve ever had!
I love the texture and color of the speaker. It’s exactly like the product image. It sounds better than my newest generation of Alexa Echo Dots. Sounds are clean when listening to music or audiobooks. Very easy to pair with the app and connect it to WiFi and my Amazon account. Alexa easily found it as a device too!

Not user friendly.
Can't get it consistently working. Sporadic connection to blue tooth and WiFi. Returned first one as it blew my laptop when I plugged in the USB. Haven’t risked plugging in the second one. The connectivity issue is a big problem. Customer service will not help if u call them. I’ll probably return this one too.

Difficult to connect & use.
Barely use this. If I hadn’t waited so long I probably would have returned it. Very difficult to use. Does not connect easily each time you want to use. Once connected it sounds great but it’s a pain and I have others that are much easier to use.

Good Speaker!
Good sound quality and battery life. Lightweight and recharges quickly. You can directly ask a question without having to say "Alexa" each time. The only negative is the fact that you have to press the speaker button each time to ask a question. it is not automatically voice-activated.
