im still looking for the perfect bag
COLD FEET! It was okay. I get really claustrophobic in mummy bags and im a side, tummy, side sleeper so I wanted a big bag. I was able to really get down in the bag to stay warm. We went camping when the lows were in the 40's. My feet were really cold even though I always wore socks to bed too. It was good in the way I had the ability to move around at night which I really need. Im a 5'10" 250lb woman. I think I am still on a search for the perfect bag though. I think I want something with a warmer linig, maybe flannel. Did not roll up well at all even though it has a way its supposed to roll up easy and I did get the zipper caught several times while trying to get out of the bag.

Great value in a 3 season sleeping bag
I ordered this sleeping bag when I became a Girl Scout volunteer and started to go on camping trips. Being an active sleeper who hates feeling restrained by bedding, I ordered the Big & Tall size and don't regret it. Even though I'm plus-size, it's VERY ample and roomy. However, as other reviewers note, the Big & Tall is definitely wide but doesn't seem to be extremely long. I use this sleeping bag with my Klymit Static V Luxe Sleeping Pad and my memory foam pillow from home and it's a very comfortable combination, even on a hard lodge floor or rickety camp cot.Likes:~ Curved top end that's perfect for your pillow.~ Soft, flannel-like interior - it feels almost like a set of flannel bed sheets!~ WARM. I got the 40 degree bag because we camp in tents during late spring, summer, and early fall, but in heated cabins/lodges for the colder months. I didn't feel that there was a need for a sleeping bag rated to colder temperatures.~ Nice zipper that doesn't get stuck or jammed.~ A little pocket for your flashlight, glasses, etc.Dislikes:~ One of the ties popped loose literally the first time I had to roll it up again. Now it's a pain in the neck to try to secure the rolled bag and stuff it into the stuff sack.~ Can be TOO warm during the summer months, when I usually end up leaving the bag unzipped for ventilation.

Runs short
I bought the big and tall size in the 40 degree version. I believe this bag runs a little shorter than advertised. Either that, or Coleman has some short 6' 5" people working for them. I'm 6' 2" and even with my feet uncomfortably mashed up against the end, there was still just barely enough length to cover my shoulders. Forget about any extra to tuck in around them. I thought maybe it was mislabeled, so I pulled out my 2 daughter's Coleman sleeping bags, both of which are different models, but still the long versions advertised to fit a person up to 6' 2". They both fit the same as this bag. There is no way this one is 3 inches longer. I think Coleman is being a little generous with their sizing, at least in length, for all of their sleeping bags. The bag is several inches wider than a standard sleeping bag so the "big" rating is accurate. I have 2 mummy sleeping bags by The North Face, and one by Nemo. All three of them are rated to a user up to 6' 6" and when I'm in them, I definitely have an extra 4 inches even with them tucked in around my shoulders. I got this bag for my son, who is 6' so it should work for him, but if you are over 6 feet tall, and sleep straight, you might find the length to be a bit of an issue, especially if you want to be able to tuck some in around your shoulders when the temperature drops. Build quality seems ok. There were a couple of wonky seems where it looks like the fabric kind of folded over a bit as it ran through the machine, and few loose threads I had to cut off, but nothing that affected the integrity of the bag or anything. It's a pretty typical Coleman product. They aim to be a notch above store brand stuff, and this certainly meets that goal.

Big, not really tall.
This bag is definitely "big", but not necessarily "tall." I'm a slightly overweight 6'5" guy, but I can't imagine being so large that I needed this kind of space. At my height you'd have to weigh 400+ lbs for this to feel comfortably sized. It felt roomy, but would definitely be cold at an actual 40 degrees given all the space. It barely comes up to my chin with my feet in the bottom of the bag. Still had a fairly comfortable night thanks to an excellent pad and 55 degree lows.

Just what I wanted!
Was looking for a sleeping back that didn't have that slick, noisy nylon and this is it!! Feels very much like cotton so you don't get all sweaty and it doesn't make noise when you move around. Couldn't be happier.

Nice quality, big and tall is roomy
Nice quality material. Bought the one rated for 30 F. Have not tested it outdoors yet but feels thick and comfy. The included stuff sack must have been improved since some other reviews, as there is an option to remove the'under penalty of law removal tag that runs the length of the sack, giving an additional 4-6 inches of width. I had no problem rolling it back up into the bag after I used this option. It's not a backpack bag as it has some weight to it but appears to be a very good quality one. I have rated 4 stars as I have not yet tested it outside

Love it! Well worth the price.
Just opened the 40 degree bag up and tried it out. The bag is soft, it is all cloth no nylon and pretty large. Every bit as nice as my hundred dollar L.L. Bean sleeping bag. love it!!

I am a smaller woman and when you get in and zip up it is not comfortable to even turn over
Very soft but much smaller girth-wise than expected. I am a smaller woman and when you get in and zip up it is not comfortable to even turn over. I wish I went big and tall just to have some room to move around...and I am 5'3" and average to smaller build.

Quality Sleeping Bag
Great sleeping bag. You'll never be able to roll the bag tight enough to get it back in the bag they sell it with but if you can get over that and find something else to store the sleeping bag in it's a well made sleeping bag and I love how the pillow area is elongated.
